virginharvester Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 sorry i am repost this from mod troubleshooting sectioni am quite desperate about it,and sorry for my bad englishi have TW3 1.30(with all updated dlc and EP)i try make my first modi have extract data using ModKitchen.exe and wcc_lite.execopy def_item_edibles.xml into new folder "Modded"edit that copyed xml => water price from 5 to 5000(only add 3 zero), then save. ("Bottled water")use modKitchen.exe again, select build a mod,mod name =testmod working dir = \Uncooked\gameplay\items (this is place a new folder i create before)check only pack xmlshow files to inport, olny 1 file = def_item_edibles.xmlpress buildmessage i forgot = your mod should in pack folder or sometningcopy inside pack, modtest to mod in witcher gamestart the game without script checkerplay the game, water price still 5 cronwplease help me, what step i miss/wrongany clue , tips, link or what ever you give me, i will appreciate itthanks for reading Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
djkovrik Posted September 8, 2016 Share Posted September 8, 2016 You do not need ModKitchen to edit xml, just use Mod Editor (ME) http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/58546-Mod-editor Run ME, create new mod project, press Add File and choose def_item_edibles.xml.
