I did look up techworld, there seems to be a lot of people who don't trust them, so I thought maybe it was wiser to give them a pass.

Techworld has almost perfect score (9.58/10) on PriceSpy. Those people you talk about, they don't trust them, because of the old site layout or did they actually had experience with customer service?

I still use a i7 2600k.

With a GTX 1080 sc I am getting 60fps average with ENB at 3440X1440

At 2560X1440 I used a GTX 980 ti sc(=1070)to average 60fps.

At 1920X1080 I used a GTX 980 sc(=1060) to average 60.

This is with Vivid Weathers & ENB.

It really depends on what resolution you want to play at what card is best for you.

Mostly it was issues with lack of contact details, maybe I was looking at old posts of it ... the main thing is Comodo keeps popping up with their site being blocked due to reports of phishing.

Not sure I NEED to go all out for a 1070, will a 1060 cover me? I'm looking at a EVGA GeForce GTX1060 3G PCI-E Gaming Video Card right now.

Also what brand of PSU should I be looking at?

I agree that a higher wattage PSU (with at least a bronze rating) is a good investment. But Mortimer hasn't mentioned a specific budget (unless I missed him say it) so I'm trying to shoot for a middle-of-the-road cost on my suggestions.

I did above, but something around $500 to $800NZ.

MSI stuff seems to either be exorbitantly priced here or very rare.

Oh, see a 650W Corsair RM650x I could get. Hows that?

Ah, sorry, I missed that. Yes, that PSU is VERY good. Here's the review at Tom's Hardware. No matter what video card you finally decide on, that PSU will give you the power you need.

It seems the local stores in New Zealand add tax and international shipping cost to their final price, which suxs.

I recommend Gtx 1060 with 6GB of VRAM and dual fans.

Are you ok with ordering from Techworld? They seem to have good customer rating. I'm just not sure if they handle warranties or send clients straight to manufacturers.

THIS!

Although, Holy Cats! I see what you mean about the prices for shipping to NZ. Sheesh. Still, that MSI twin-fan design is verrrry nice. If you can afford it and the PSU you asked about, I think you've got a winning combo.

Good luck!

Comodo?! (Makes a cross sign with fingers while hissing.)

Aheh. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Seriously though, try connecting with Avast anti-virus (or any other you trust) and see if you get warnings...

The EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 is a probably a best buy power supply. It can be found at Newegg. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438018

He would be paying at least 20 more bucks for 850W model, which he doesn't need for his configuration. Besides Newegg is out of the question unless there would be a big discount (Black Friday for example). He will be charged with 15% tax and around 60$ for shipping to New Zealand. The models he can get from local shops are 750 G2 (650W G2 is not sold there) and RM650x which are roughly the same price (depending on the store).
