Mechanorm
I'm guessing the offence caused was because I intentionally made the first redone rendition sound uneducated, due to the style of the writing. For those interested, I've set up a Onmvoice page here - http://www.onmvoice.com/Mechanorm. It has several samples based on lines from Oblivion, so if anyone would want a book in a specific voice, feel free to ask.
firstprice
Hi everyone! Great idea for a mod! I was directed here by a lovely fellow named Psychohamster who said I might be able to squeeze my way in on some of the voice work? I am a semi-pro voice actress with a professional mic set in my home base and I am also voice trained. I can do a few accents for you, as well. Here is my demo audio. I hope you can take the time out of your work to sneak a peek at it. :) http://social.bioware.com/project/1120/ Lucy xxYou're better at voice acting that many of the actors in skyrim. Also I think your voice fits perfectly in skyrim.
gretzky99
This is quite the good idea...but does it actually start the reading when you open the book? What if you want to skip ahead a few pages?
Ranry
Would love to be involved in this, will post some voice samples soon. I'm a native Scot so I have Scottish accent pinned and I do a good Irish accent too, if you're looking for somebody to do books by Forsworn. pandabearparade
Wow! This is a -fantastic- idea! I don't have very good audio equipment, but perhaps I'll get myself some for Christmas and my wife and I can provide readings for a few books. Ranry
Okkaayyyy it's a bit s***. Too quiet and quality is kinda naff. Next time I can try speak further away from the mic and remember to amplify after normalising. But yeah...I did http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Agrius < This little book as an example of voice acting. Hope you like it. CC is welcome. http://www.mediafire.com/?qa87n50030z9nec
Huzzahfortimelines
Hi there! First, I love this idea. I think, if this project is really going to be finished any time soon (It's a whole lot of work) it might be my pick for mod of the year! Second, I'm not a great reader, sorry. However, I am going to send a personal message to this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsROSzMpaPo&list=PLE137F361D68B836E&index=40&feature=plpp_video to see if he might want to participate in this. I don't promise anything, but he if he is willing to do a few books, then I think you guys will really have a great addition of a voice.
Alex4921
I would be willing to do quite a few readings, here is a modding resource page of my work:http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/466144-modding-resource/page__view__findpost__p__4087227 http://soundcloud.com/alexboiardi/doors-of-oblivion would be the "Doors of Oblivion" book(Feel free to use it for this mod however i think i made a mistake or two somewhere and restarted the paragraph so if i were to actually help this would obviously have to be ironed out). http://soundcloud.com/alexboiardi/liminal-bridges would be the book "Liminal Bridges" I would be interested in doing any book however any book to do with the empire,Daedra and/or magicka would be of particular interest to me.PM me if you want a book or two or alternatively contact me via one of the other methods mentioned in the post above.
