Is Blender betting for making armour, or 3DS max?

I'm not sure how to make armour. I mean texturing is probably fairly easy to do once you get the hang of it.

 

But modelling?

 

I mean how do you get the shape of the armour right? It seems incredibly difficult.

Is Blender more suited for this? or 3DS max?

Hey throttlekitty, i had seen somewhere you had posted that someone over on niftools forum,,, i think you said it was 2pac4eva had posted a nifskope/blender tut of some sort? I couldnt find it there and couldnt retrace where i saw it here. Can yah post a link?
