Is there any way to get a mod from the Steam Workshop, but not subscribe to it?Or get it into NMM somehow so that I can control load order? Or get BOSS to recognize it so I can manage it with a BOSS rule?

I don't think this is the thread for that, but anyways, no you can't download steam workshop mods without subscribing. You could however subscribe, download, and then copy the files and do as you wish. Once the mod is downloaded then if it has an .esp it should appear in the load order like any other.

As for my inquiry I recall there being quite a nice mod for skyrim that was almost exactly like the Real Time Settler Mods for the Fallout games. I know there is a mod called RTS, but that isn't the one I'm referring to. I know it has a crap ton of endorsements but for the life of me I can't find it.

Edit: Sure enough, after days of searching, right after I make a post, I found it. Tundra Defense: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22330

Hi guys, does anybody know of a 1st person horse riding mod. i am aware of 2 mods. one is no longer compatible since skyrim patch 1.6, and the other doesn't seem to work anymore. It allows zoom but only a small amount closer to the player, not 1st person.

Cheers

What happened to Map Marker Overhaul? At least I think that's what it was called.

It added and fixed a ton of map markers, included 4 or 5 different sets of colored markers and allowed you to interact with the markers such as writing notes on dungeons you want to come back to or flagging particular markers, etc.

I recall having it installed some time ago (before I reformatted for Windows 7 :wallbash: )...

I finished my setup for body textures, face textures, hairs, armors, items, followers, sex stuff and a lighting ENB (using RCRN) and now I am up to mods that improve exterior structures/textures.

So far I have:

-Enhanced Night Skyrim

-WATER

-Serious HD Retexture Skyrim

-Skyrim Flora Overhaul High Rez version

-Lush Trees

-Static Mesh Improvement

My Nvidia 570 GTX and my 2600k CPU are at their limits (running RCRN and Nvidia settings on ultra high), but no CTDs yet.

As far as I know do the above mods not change city/fortress/house textures.

Any idea about a mod that changes the above textures? As many and as high resolution as possible would be best. I want to have them as vanilla as possible (so no new structures and such), only as detailed as possible.

Usually there is for each texture part in this game a "specialist" :-)
