I always thought that there really was no consequence for picking a side in the War... I sided with Ulfric, burned the city of Whiterun to a crisp and destroyed the homes, businesses and morale of the ciizens, possiby for decades... yet they're still perfectly fine with talking to me, selling me stuff, etc. I really wanna change that.

There are a few: Night Eye Overhaul and Predator Vision both alter the way nighteye looks, and my own mod Spectacular Night Eye adds several alternative effects to either those or the vanilla game.
