theLoveless
I have noticed in a lot of screen shots, that the game looks better in certain aspects for others than it does mine and vice verse. The thing is, everything looks gorgeous except for one thing: Water in the distance. I have my settings completely maxed out, I have way more than enough to run it all and yet the water still looks like frozen over ice in the distance. On top of that, when I look towards the ocean and others see fog/clouds, instead I see frozen water and it falling off to a straight, nasty looking line. I have done the basic fixes like updating my driver, so what's up? Windows 7 64-bitIntel i7 9203x 2G RAMATI Radeon 5800
vertex23
It's how the game handles far distances. Think of it like Minecraft - only a certain area around you loads up and as you get closer to another part, it loads up later keeping the area behind in its memory for when you pass again. It would be very taxing on any system to have arrows stuck in a tree loaded up all the time until it went over the horizon. Does it look like crap looking over the cliff in Solitude? Yes.Does it make it so we can play? Yes.
elderiii
The people with better looking screenshots have probably modified their .ini file to increase the draw distance and/or the detail of various LOD textures among other tweaks.
