Making Fallout 4 look like Fallout 3 and so feel more depressing :)

Fallout 3 was dark, gray and depressing.

 

I loved it! :dance:

 

The world felt dead all was lost.

Just look at that.

Makes you want to kill super mutants While listening to a crazy man play 1950s hits.

 

 

Now look at this

Almost make you feel happy to be alive.

 

 

It's just awful. :ohdear:

 

it's so.... happy. :sick:

 

So to the point.

 

We need an EMB, or something to make fallout 4 look more depressing. :yes:

 

Like in fallout 1 2 3 and even New Vegas.

 

So if you can, If you have the will power to do so!

 

You must save us from the beautiful looking lands of fallout 4, and make it look more like fallout 3.

Only then will the world be a better place, to feel like nothing you do matters. :thumbsup:

Never side-by-sided the screen shots. Couldn't agree more. Just seeing 3 again made me smile.

 

Really do miss the feel of it so much now that I see it against 4.

 

Imo, instead of trying to get blood from a stone, rebuild 3 in the newer engine. We can all just mod that again but with greater flexibility.

 

You can enb and retexture 4 to hell and back. It'll never feel as lonely and desolate as 3.

I wish we had the map, weapons and storyline of fallout 3 with fallout 4's engine, guns, armor, and other cool little additions. fallout 3 had a better storyline and waay better dlcs. but that will most likely never happen. hopefully down the road it actually does.

With the last two, if you think they're too lurid, you can just open ENB in-game (press the END key) and turn down the saturation.

Sorry for the necro-bump, but there has to be mods around that do exactly the opposite of all those "green" mods making the wasteland look more like a jungle; I want a desolated, dead and dry post-apocalyptic feel for a change.

I've seen a mod with huge dead trees around, but I can't for the life of me remember how it's called and I've tried all ways to search it... I use the word "tree" and Google immediately gives me tons of green mods disregarding the words "desolation" or "dead" :mad:

EDIT: Yeah... I just jumped in here from Google not knowing that there was a big pinned thread titled "DO NOT BUMP THREADS" right outside... So... Uhm, sorry about that.

Dustbowl Overhaul by SpiffySkyTrooper makes things look pretty desolate. The only downside is that it has the unintended consequence of showing (in stark contrast) the horrendous draw distance outside of the rendered cells.
