And i did that in 3ds max then export to nifskope.there do a property in nitrishape : NiMaterialPropertybut it does not work well. i mean if i use it, there would be a big red triangle in the game. but if not, everything works good.without NiMaterialProperty, how to make things glossiness? Werne
By adding alpha in the Normal Map, if you add more alpha, the model will be more glossy. Edited December 5, 2011 by Werne
Ghogiel
By adding alpha in the Normal Map, if you add more alpha, the model will be more glossy.gloss is specular exponent, not specular level. The difference is that the gloss will pinch the specular highlights falloff range, ie make the reflection highlight tighter the higher its value is, the lower the value the more diffused and softer the specular highlight is. Specular level is how bright the specular highlight actually is. Secondly it is the specular level map that is in the normal maps alpha not gloss. OP: NIMaterialProperty is no longer used, material parameters are found in the BSLightingShaderProperty now
