DragonKingGaav
I just bought FNV and OWB off Steam during their sales 2 weeks ago; and I wondering can I continue to play the game (and play OWB) after I finish the main quest? Or should I do all of the side quests first, then play OWB, then finish the main question? Thanks!
ModelV
In the vanilla game no not possible there is no way to play after the main quest. There are some mods that can do this Im sure they are easy to find just search "freeplay after main quest". The only thing you really need to have before playing OWBs is decent enough skills in the skills you plan on using. Say...50 to 75. Youll need 75 in energy weapons or Guns right when you enter in the dialogue in the beginning but dont bother obviously if you dont use energy weapons or guns. Its also recommended that you have good science skill. Bring a mentat too.

Meroviginian
It is kinda odd that the only way to play the dlc is to not complete the main quest, but that's the way they set it up. The main reason for this is to end the journey completely, since there won't be another fallout game, just the online version when it's released in late 2012. Plus the Online version is being made by a completely different company that does not talk to Bethesda. Edited December 6, 2011 by ModelV
minngarm
All stories need an ending, and with the way NV is written you can't really have a after the final fight option and it make sense unless you want you're PC to be increadibly powerful and sanctioned as some hero or villian accordingly.
