ninja_lord666
The OBSE site has the download right in it. I don't see why someone can't simply click my link, then click their link. Is there some sort of one-click rule I wast aware of, or are people simply too lazy to make one more click?

Storm Raven
I do not like links that automaticly dowload files to my computer. I want to read the docs before I download so I know exactly what it is I am downloading. There are security issues as well. Bad guys regularly use this practice to get folks to download malware, trojans, etc. I would prefer that the practice of linking directly to downloads was not practiced. Ninja could have more clearly defined his link, but hats off to him, because his link goes to the site and not the download itself. I will have to reread the rules, but for the security reasons stated above, I don't think this is a good idea. No Offence Intended. Apparently not, so tell me, how can I make it any more obvious that there's a link in my post than by saying there's a link in my post? Refrain from insulting his intelligence? So even if he does something stupid I'm supposed to accept it? That's why this country's going downhill: no one cares if someone is a moron. In fact, they even try to protect the morons saying that just because they're different, they're not any worse. Personally, I find it insulting that people put some idiot with almost an IQ of almost three times less than me on the same level as me. It's only logical that a genius is inherently better than a moron.
Nineteen99
My bad. I couldn't see the link because, as Abramul said, the forum doesn't underline links, and the link color is, like, one shade away from default text. After I posted, I had to take a double-take, and realized what the links looked like. However, I didn't bother to go back to your post to reread it, assuming there wasn't a link. I really don't want to flame. I hate flamers. But, ninja_lord666, have you ever heard the cliche, "Everyone makes mistakes?" Yeah, it's a cliche. But do you know why such phrases become cliches? Because they're true. And I think I'll request this topic to be closed. All this will be is a flame war henceforth.
