JiveViking Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 I was looking for some mods that add actual walls, and couldn't find anything aside from some hidden files. My idea of a good wall mod would be one with a base wall and upper wall pieces, along with some kind of connector piece that allows for 45 or 90 degree snapping. I usually use foundation blocks to make walls, but it can be frustrating to do angles with them and create seamless perimeters. Is this a possible mod to be made? If so it would be cool to see this happen
Jeffman12 Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Snap'N'Build? Homemaker?Doesn't really help with 45 degree snapping, but uses the game's inbuilt facilitation (as in they have a couple right-triangle hypotenuse walls)
Ethreon Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 The base game itself offers 45 concrete wall/floor.

If so it would be cool to see this happenI havent used either of these mods very much, but from what I can tell it's mostly convenant and BOS walls. I will take a look though The base game itself offers 45 concrete wall/floor.I'm sure you mean Wasteland Workshop? What I'm really look for however are huge medieval-like structures which can easily adapt to terrain and also look realistic when surrounding huge areas. I'm sure this is something DDProductions would be capable of this but as far as I know he's retired
Ethreon Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 "structures that adapt to terrain" they don't. You sink them in as much as you need, given that they have the appropriate sink points set. I'm sure at least two of the people watching this thread could do that. I know I can lol

damanding Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Luckily for you DDProductions left his All in One mod available. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16707 That has a variety of building pieces including a glass kit and a medieval castle building kit.
damanding Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Ethreon,As one of the resident experts on snapping points, is it possible to make snap points that handle 90 degree snapping with interior walls better?

Other than that, best solution to have them snap at 90 without fuss would be to only have snaps at 90, and none straight.
damanding Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 I hereby nominate you to be hired by Beth to fix their crap. I'm sure they'll listen to me.
