Decapitations to remember.

After getting the staff of magnus, this Thalmor Mage was waiting for me at the exit to take it...

He: blabla give me mcguffin bla

Me: Get out of my way!

He: You do not stand a chance!

Me: Chop

Another satisfying one was with septimus signus, that guy who talks about how he has spread plagues, sewn dissent and generally committed crimes against humanity. I didn't realize he was supposed to be disintegrated instead of just becoming killable, but in retrospective that was a "good bug".

Also every time I decapitate someone in the middle of taunting me and the audio file keeps playing while their head rolls... They say some unlucky people stayed conscious for a short time after decapitation in real life, but how do you talk without lungs?

Also very memorable is running fleeing people through from behind with a sword, it happens almost every time someone runs from me. Especially with Stormcloaks after civil war quests. Even my fellow imperials make disgusted remarks at how brutal I am since those Stormcloaks are no longer even flagged as hostile.

The best decapitation I had was in a fight against a random bandit, my horse was next to me, wailing away at the guy. Right as the decapitation scene hits, the horse comes in for a bite, the scene bugged a bit, and instead of me decapitating him, the horse seemed to bite the head off the bandit. Couldn't actually find the head, so who knows, maybe Frost is more evil than he looks...

I'm glad to know that I am not the only one with special decapitation moments.

The first time that I decapitated some one was in Bleak Falls Barrow. I was on a quest to recover the Riverwood shopkeeper's most valuable possession... As I burst in the door of Bleak Falls Barrow there were two thieving tomb raiders having a chat.

They noticed my abrupt approach as I rushed in and made quick work of the man who drew his sword. Then I charged the woman who was behind him as she drew back her bow and said said a taunt or two. Gladly I obliged her and came in for the killing blow. Suddenly my arms were drawn back for a home-run swing and with a loud "woosh" off went her head.

I was in complete shock! I thought the game had glitched, so I looked down... lo and behold, her body laid there headless and resting next to it was a bodiless head.

From that moment on I knew that Skyrim was undeniably awesome.
