Hey Guys, I need your help. Im new with gaming and modding games and decided to mod Fallout 4, Mods Worked perfectly, however I had to re install my Fallout 4 and now they wont work, I launch the game with the dlcs and try to load my old save files and it says something like "Warning the game has being changed recently and some mods might be unavailable" and then a list shows up with pretty much every mod I had. I only uninstalled and installed the main game, the my documents fallout 4 folder and the nexus mods installer folder its the old one I had with the previous game.

I need your help guys please, I dont want to lose my save files.

You have reinstalled your Game, so everything in your games data-folder is gone. You have to reinstall your mods too. They are no longer there, no matter what nexus mod manager tells you.

Thank you for answering Sharra. So what should I do, I mean I tried using the re install opcion in nexus mod manager and well it didnt work, well not with all anyway.

So, should I delete the mods from the Nexus Mod folder? or from nexus manager and then re install?

Have you reinstalled the game in a different location than before?

Are you using a mod manager like NMM (Nexus Mod Manager)?

Thank you for answering Jimmy, Nope its in the same location and yes I always use Nexus mod manager and yes the mods are in the manager, I tried using the reinstall button that it has but it didnt work, maybe only with body slide and doesnt show me anything now.

You might need to delete them, but it's hard to say. Depending on how you unistalled them, NMM might have problems recognizing them.

When I had to reinstall FO4 NMM would not recognize any of my mods. So I have to one by one, delete and redownload every mod.

Thank you Bill, yeah Im starting to think the best way might be write them down on a pice of paper and start uninstalling and installing them again.

Just to make sure.

If you are tracking them in Nexus it is easy to redo them. I had close to 200 mods when I had to do this. It took me about 8 hours. :(

Omg bro thats a lot of mods and of time. How can I properly uninstall them? Like whats your advice to uninstall them. Cuz I did the re install option nexus had and didnt work. I mean it was obvious it wasnt going to work cuz many didnt let me activate the options like before. And other thing is I have the nexus directory full of the mods even tho they are not working.

Right click on the mod. A popup will give you an option to uninstall. That will remove it from your computer.

Just make sure the mod is still on Nexus before you do. If you know for sure it no longer works, or you will never use it, then there is no need to check and see when it was last updated, and still working.
