Thoreai
Beware of the 1.3 patch it kills your FPS and even breaks your game, let me clear things up so you understand Ya...except, no it doesn't.Patch is fine, fps is fine. Saves are fine.Gotta love when people post total PEBKAC like it's universal. And therefore you are doing the same now ?You are also saying its fine, thats also an universal description...for every person its different...im thankfull that he warned us about possible bugs...i will rather wait with the patching. lestat1234
Side note: In my case, the game gets better FPS if I am NOT over clocking. Just sayin.Unstable overclock. There is nothing, no game or app, that runs better at a slower clock speed. For example you will get a lower score in 3Dmark, if your over clock is flaky. This doesn't mean over clocking results in a lower score, this means you probably need more vcore. Edited December 7, 2011 by lestat1234

vertex23
No issues on my end...You guys must just be very unlucky. Note: The first time I started up Skyrim on new patch, the loading screen took a while (Stuck at Dragon symbol and no menu) but I just waited it out and everything is good. Yozzer
I had reverted back from the previous patch OK, but when I saw thst 1.3 was out, I enabled updates, and rebooted. Steam updated me to 1.37 I think it said, but right off the vertical movement of the curser is useless, it moves about half an inch and slowly. Horizontal is OK, and fine in the menus, just up the creek in the world.I will try and see if I can sort it, or else it wil be back to square one again. To be honest it runs fine for me when wound back to the start situation with just the first big patch, just a few bugs which do not break my game, such a fantastic game, a pity they are having such problems patching on some machines, including my super fantistic PC.Edit I read elswhere on the forum to delete fMouseHeadingXScale=0.02fMouseHeadingYScale=0.02 from the Skyrim ini and now all is well, hurray :teehee: Played for half an hour with no problems up to now, fingers crossed. Given that this was 100% not true for patch 1.2, that MANY people with no mods encountered problems, console users and pc users alike, you are being an ignorant and foolish to claim that 1.3 must be working fully well for everyone. But really, I'm guessing you are just trolling. Have fun with that, I personally find it is weird that people enjoy behaving like ignorant a-holes. kitsuneshoujo
Really? .... It seem every patch breaks something vital. They should stop patching the PC version, and just patch the PS3, Xbox, and give us the CK. I bet a week is all it takes, and the game is fixed. No, Bethesda just needs to stop trying to cash in on the limited console market, pay more attention to the PC version instead of just going "Oh, well, this patch should work for the pc since it does with the xbox! Lets roll it out and see what happens!"
