roqueofspades
So I've been having CTD issues for a while. I'm running a Nvidia Geforce 970m with an i7 core, so I have a feeling it's not that my machine isn't powerful enough. I have three main issues.-Physics are bouncy AF. Sometimes my horse will just decide to jump 60 feet in the air. If I walk near a set table, the settings go flying all over the place. It's crazy.-Getting CTDs near WIndhelm and in the mountains, as well as in the Rift. Disabling Wet And Cold helped some, but unfortunately I still crash near Windhelm and the Rift. Maybe other places west too, but I've only been east.-Water has a weird flickering effect, and the game will glitch and think I'm underwater when I'm not. The greenish effect will flash on and off and I'll swim midair, and the sounds will flicker. I tried removing ENBoost to stop this, as was suggested, but I didn't find it helped at all. Any help anyone could offer would be extremely appreciated! Project579
you have V-sync on and the game locked at 60fps? Use LOOT to fix your load order. Edited September 28, 2016 by Project579

Use LOOT to fix your load order.Turning on V-Sync fixed the physics issue, and mostly fixed the water issue, so thank you so much! But I am still having trouble with the CTDs

roqueofspades
You need to clean your master files: Isn't this dangerous to do? Which mods do you suggest I absolutely need to clean? or should I do all of them?

LeddBate
Wellll, some mods do have intentional dirty edits -which are usually needed to make the mod function properly. Cleaning those mods WILL break them. However, they are few in number. Take note of the mods LOOT tells you to clean, check their descriptions on their pages. If they don't mention anything about deliberately dirty edits, go ahead and clean them with TESVEdit.
