Well i figured out what's causing my main menu screen to only show the dragon logo, i had to remove Vals crafting meltdown mod completely and now it works, but i do have shitty fps now, the patch did something i think because i keep jerking and the fps loss is annoying >.<

I am on 1.1 and I am going to stay there. 1.3 only fixes problems that 1.2 caused....

Same here..after reading the mixed reviews of 1,3 it seems that I am waiting for the patch that is concurrent with the CK..at least then the modders can have a whack at bug fixes....seems that Bethsada as usual needs the modding community to help solve their game issues...sigh..business as usual with TES. :wallbash:

Path notes:

Update 1.3 Notes (all platforms unless specified)

General stability improvements

Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC)

Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles

Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly

Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes

Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading

Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

I got 1.1 and it works fine, and it doesn't seem there is absolutely anything this patch does that isn't already working fine in the 1.1. I guess I'll wait for a better patch.

I'd really like to see this:

Improved performance for Quad Core CPUs

Steam reverted my settings to always update when I had it off. So I got the lousy 1.2 patch. That was horrible. My key bindings were borked and had no TAB key. Dragons...well that, crashing which I did not have before 1.2. It was a mess. I also had the launcher looping over and over that took me a while to fix. 1.2 defaulted my ini and prefs back to default as well. It was hours of work to get it to load again. 1.3 fixed the dragons, key bindings and low and behold it did not default my INIs this time.

1.3 not a crash after 4 hours of play. I am using 4gb patch. I have not noticed a FPS reduction. Getting a good steady 35-45 outdoors and 60 or more indoors on a 120 hz monitor. 3D gaming is very good.

So it appears they rushed this out to fix what they broke. So now how about fixes for everything that needed fixing from day 1?

But I am glad 1.3 did no give me any further issues so far. Keep the patches (ones that fix) coming.

Playing 1.3 for 2 hours (was on 1.1 before), and no problem so far. I have no FPS loss and no crashes.

The only thing, it seem to have reset the tuturials (the info that popup when opening for the first time the quest log, the map, an alchemy table, etc). But that's not realy an issue..

Been playing on 1.3 for ages now, and so it is by far the best patch; haven't crashed once and no more stuttering. Turning no longer reduces fps at all and therefore it is smooth as butter when looking around, and also increased my fps on a dual core processor from 10-15fps in Markarth to 25-35 fps in Markarth, on Ultra graphics with tweaked shadows and high resolution water textures.

Using a lot of high resolution textures with enb series antifreeze d3d9.dll and 4GB launcher.

System:

Intel Duo Core 2.2GHz

ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

4GB DDR3 Ram.

If you have a dual core processor I would definitely recommend updating to this patch, it will make your game a lot smoother. (backup just incase though, thats what I did - have since deleted my backup). It also remedies any errors that you got with patch 1.2, but I never got any errors with patch 1.2 either, I've only seen the backwards flying dragon on a friends computer and 1.3 fixed it.
