DoctorKaizeld
Honestly Fallout 4 is more akin to far cry as a shooter just without the ability to climb, slide or parachute then it is to the previous fallout games. Really hope it's not indicative of the next elder scrolls or fallout games or I won't be buying them.Agreed
RevanFanMan
Well here's hoping but I doubt it. Some companies like what they've created even if it's bad and have a tendency to make it worse over time. Battlefront by EA is a prime example as is No Man's Sky, Neither company has admitted they screwed up, even in the face of legal repercussions in the case of No Man's Sky. Bethesda is no exception, I'm not going to list all the things wrong with Fallout 4 as it's been mentioned numerous times since it was released. Don't get me wrong Fallout 4 isn't a bad game, it's just a bad Fallout game.
genolune
Good news is, as the game engine gets more stable and the modders collectively grow in experience and numbers, Fallout 4 becomes really good opportunity to bring the things we liked from Fallout 1,2,3,NV,Tactics,Brotherhood of Steel and the Elder Scrolls games. I started thinking to myself as I've been playing New Vegas and Skyrim that we just need to A) get more imaginative to bring intricate companions like Willow and Niner and Vilja and B) get the technical competence to make it happen. It may be a bad Fallout game, but the core engine and mechanics are good and solid to build upon. Though, sadly, New Vegas will always be favorite Fallout game for its open-endedness and detailed writing.
DoctorKaizeld
Guys this is a request thread not a discussion thread. We are way off topic now.
genolune
I think we are doing a bit of both. I forget, what was the most amount of companions you could have by default in New Vegas? Two right? One human and one ED-E (and maybe Rex though I never used him). It would be lore friendly for an ED-E mod, which I think I'll write down in my notes of things to investigate. Courier07
If you want durability, a mod for that already exists right now. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17184/? It's not exactly like a repair system, but the more advanced the gun is, the lower chance it'll have to jam. What I really want is a disguise mod. genolune
Care to elaborate on the disguise mod? Do you mean something akin to the faction armor of New Vegas?

That's what they do now, they make a base Engine for modders to make good, and they fail even at the making of the Base(without Skills and Reputation System)
