JohnNorton
Hi there, i hope some1 can help an old man gamer, i have this issues: everytime when i enter a building, or i leave a building i save the game because: it happens that the game crashes to desktopAnd also, as the topic says, i have really neverending loading screens (between 1-3 minutes) Next Issue: when i look around in the world the screen freezes for seconds, then its smooth, it freezes again, smooth - then i can play without problems. This happens when i enter the city, or when i leave the city. (before i installed mods i didnt had the issue)Hope my english is good enough that some1 knows what i try to say and i hope that some1 can give me Info´s on how to fix it. maybe impportant info: i have over 200 mods installed. ( i really didnt want to install so much, but i´ve seen so nice things :) greetz John
JimmyRJump
Amount of mods shouldn't matter, as long as they're not the 4 to 8K kind (I have 279 installed right now, of which 189 have a plug-in. I've had 339 in the past with 254 plug-ins). Your assessment to me sounds like a V-RAM issue and this is where I advise the use of ENBoost and ShadowBoost to help aleviate the burden on your system, depending on how much system RAM yo have inside your machine... Also have a look at Hein84's Vivid mods: they have superior quality while often being smaller or same-size as the vanilla textures while at the same time doing away with RAM spikes because of being smoother... Jimmy, do you know if "Shadowboost" will work together with True Shadows? I've read everything on both pages and neither implies they won't. True Shadows works great for me as I have the hardware to handle it but I do get some fps drops in my larger settlements.
