Harbertown
I am going to try and post here since it says this is where I should post. The last guy asking for help was in 2015 and got no response so it doesn't look good lol..... I want to play x3 TC or AP again and Nexus mod doesn't find or even look for these games anymore. How can I fix this or possibly just DL an older version of mod manager? The game IS OK without mods, but game changing and so much more fun with mods...So any help would be appreciated! Thank you! Dark0ne
NMM supports X:Rebirth, not X3, unfortunately.
Harbertown
Yes, but it used to support it, and I read some people downloaded older versions and got it to work or something like that? Is that possible still? I still see mods for it so they don't work anymore?
Dark0ne
We've never supported X3 officially within NMM or done any work to get X3 in to NMM. If such support existed, it was because someone else did it using our open source software, but that would be the first I've heard of it.
Harbertown
Wow really? I could have sworn I played X3 and could install the mods automatically with something? That is strange! OK thanks a ton! Maybe I did it all manually and just forgot? That sucks :( Thanks a lot though for responding!
pawzseven
Harbertown, as I recall, one could download expansions and updates, maybe also scripts and/or mods (can't remember that) etc via the dedicated Egosoft X-Universe website, maybe this link? http://www.egosoft.com/download/index_en.php perhaps that is what you are mis-remembering? They have a good and ongoing forum for each of the games in the series on that site as well.
