brokenergy
http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/121/1214389p1.html Damn shame really ever since the closure of the developer. I truly hope that someone else would take over it and complete it.

Iv000
A shame if you ask me. I loved all the previous Stalker games, especially SoC with the Complete mod.I hope someone else picks it up, I was really looking forward to Stalker 2.
ita
I hope the employees regroup and reform the studio under a different name or something, last thing I'd want to see is the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. IP getting bought by EA or Activision. :yucky:
lostone1993
If bought by ea or activision, Id have to shoot my self. Even thinking of what it would turn out as is horrifying I am a big fan of stalker, They were beacon of light on a bland area of land Edited December 10, 2011 by lostone1993
brokenergy
Sorry I just don't see what is wrong with big publishers, the a possible reason why the developer collapsed that it didn't expand to be sustainable and eventually got hit by the credit crunch. Shame but that's how business works. Edited December 10, 2011 by brokenergy
Yoshh
I have read that the project was scrapped, along with the studio, due to STALKER not being financially sustainable as it was a PC only title. Sergey Galenkin said this himself, supposedly. Edited December 11, 2011 by Yoshh
JimboUK
Well the brand must still be worth something, maybe someone else will pick it up?

ita
I'm hoping this is part of some PR stunt, like the one CD Projekt pulled with gog.com. :ohdear:
