Things Potentially Missing From Fallout

Just a some things I think the creators missed. Not sure if I can update this, but if I can I will add as I remember. If anyone with the proper knowledge wants to take care of these things you are more than welcome as I personally lack the necessary skills.

Has anyone noticed that the "beggars" only ask for water and never caps to buy some? There are no serpentine or aquatic life, reptiles and only one breed of most animal types. Tons of water area with no inhabitants (human).

It actually makes sense that the beggars don't ask for caps. If you're stranded or lost potentially days away from the nearest merchant, a fistful of money won't do you a damn bit of good, but a pint or two of water could literally be the difference between surviving the trip and dying en route.

Yeah, your point is? They missed LOT of stuff more important than that.

They missed should be commonplace weapons (Wattz series laser weapons, the R91 assault rifle, Service Rifles)

A functioning ecosystem

Real settlements

Non-fetch quests

Integration of side quests with main plot (I'm talking about you Cabot House)

A chance to actually command as a General

Skill checks

Non-violent ways to gain experience (hacking/lockpicking aside)

Real rewards for exploration (they're all leveled )

Any sense of realism (by making all the enemies leveled)

Any depth to hostile factions

This game is missing a lot of things a Fallout game should have. This game is a disgrace, although less so than vanilla Fallout 3.
