prolovegirl
I hate being overburdened - my frustration with it has made me stop playing for a while in Morrowind and Oblivion (and FO3 and FNV). You clear a dungeon and spend six trips to the shops and back trying to sell all the worthwhile stuff. After many frustrating games I began using the console to adjust my carry weight. In Skyrim, to help myself and my companion Lydia, I'm using a batch file that goes: player.setav carryweight 999 prid a2c94 setav carryweight 999 If anyone else out there gets frustrated by the limits on their carryweight, feel free to use it! (You'll need to change the prid line for a different companion, of course.) PLG
Astymma
Instead of using SetAV, you could use ModAV which would have the same effect but not affect all other references sharing the same Base RefID.SetAV affects all references with that refid and affects the actual base value, so if the value gets recalculated will be overwritten.ModAV affects only the reference you use it on and acts as a buff to that stat value, so if the value gets recalculated, the buff remains.Personally, in the case of carryweight, I much prefer using ModAV. player.modav carryweight 999 prid a2c94 modav carryweight

That's much better! PLG
Astymma
Edited my above post with more accurate information, you ended up quoting me before the edit hehe :)But, the information still holds, ModAV is preferable.
Erenar
Aren't forums for helping people, both knowledgable and new to modding/commands/bethesda games, so therefore all information is welcome? Elitist/arrogant attitudes are unwanted Kayvaan :P
prolovegirl
Whoops! This post was based on a misunderstanding of who was saying what to who. Wish I could delete it altogether! Elitist/arrogant attitudes are unwanted Kayvaan :P There is nothing elitist or arrogant in his very helpful post. I value his tip highly. In fact I gave him a kudos for it. I notice he has 29 kudos. So before you ask "Aren't forums for helping people?" you should note that he has helped people a lot! Erenar
Ah, that was aimed at another poster who appears to have deleted his post now. He was complaining about noobs not knowing about console commands.... so I was defending the post. No offence meant to you or astymma. And when i say noob I am quoting his comment... just for clarification. Don't want to drop myself in something haha Edited December 11, 2011 by Erenar
Imperfections
If you don't feel like using the console or batch file and don't want to screw with those why not just the Dead Thrall spell on 1 corpse and before you revive him drop everything you wish to carry(not being used) on him. When your maxed out again kill him and do it again, anything that is dead can carry a limitless amount of weight.
