Eloin
I use Chillrend main and daedric dagger offhand. I do not enchant the dagger so I can use elemental fury.I am also 100 conjuration. IF sneaking fails or there is big/multiple baddies I will summon 2x demora lords, flank the enemy, pop elemental fury and rip every thing to pieces. I will use all of the charges in chillrend in about 15 seconds.
mossomo
Dual Wield is useless It is situational for me. I'm not a thief character. But when I see casters, I dual wield for the dps.
AtlasS
My latest character is level 20 and is still duel wielding the woodcutters axes from level one... is something wrong with me?
Els236
You can dualwield more than daggers. Ebony maces/swords at slightly different improvements can be devastating with Elemental Fury. Can kill Ancient dragons in like 10 seconds. Don't need a shield if they don't live long enough to attack. That's what I was going to say. Dual-Wield a weapon (sword) with 210 damage then add on 3-word Elemental Fury + Dual-Wield speed perk, you can attack at light 5 swings a second, it is absolutely mental! billyro
Dual wielding is not useless... it's overpowered!Seriously, dragons die in a few seconds when you get some good weapons and Elemental Fury. My Damage is on about 98 at the moment (ebony war axe (fine) + ebony sword (fine)) with the damage increase perk at full (100% extra damage) and Elemental Fury at level 2. I also have an amulet that increases one-handed weapon damage by 12% which makes me even more powerful. Combine these and do the double power attack by holding left and right mouse buttons at the same time, and you become ultimate killing machine. Seriously, deal about 1000 damage in a few seconds. Tsixth
Yeah dual wielding is way overpowered once you get the perks for damage and speed. My body armor does enough to tank damage, the shield is rather obsolete.

I keep my mana solely for fast heals, I don't need health potions lol. Shield aren't bad with the instant kill bashing thingy, but dual wielding is consistently high damage.
