Crash with sound mods

Short version:

My game crashes any time I'm trying to use any sound mod (AOS, ISC, Immersive Music, you name it).
It happens without any other mods activated.
It's never happened before.
I'm quite adept in modding, so the issue is baffling. I'm also not the only one encountering it - each of these sound mods has reports of such crashes, while they are rare and largely ignored.

Long version:

So, I had this nice Skyrim setup, but thought it could be nicer. More FPS, you know, better ENB and the loading times were killing me.
I bought and installed GeForce 1080 GTX and new SSD drive. Skyrim was installed on old HDD. I've tested it and it worked good, but I still wanted better loading times, so I've uninstalled Skyrim completely and installed it on a new drive. And, well, started to rebuild my mod setup. Here I encountered a problem:

Any music mod like "Fantasy Soundtrack Project" or "Immersive Music" and any big sound mod like "Audio Overhaul for Skyrim" or "Immersive Sounds Compendium" while activated crashes my game iimediately after loading when the game is trying to play new sound or music. It happens 100% of the time. "Crash fixes" is installed and doesn't produce a message. the log only shows: "Game has crashed with exception address 0x68D9BBBC!" and that's all. I'm using an integrated sound card, Realtek HD Audio.

NPC voices don't have this problem ("Interesting NPC's" or "Arissa" run without issues). What's more baffling, small sounds included with other mods don't have this problem. I've installed "Skeletons of Daggerfall" and it plays without crashes. There are no problem with sounds from "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul", etc.

But I have no idea if my game will crash when, say, "Undeath" will try to play it's new music, so this issue becomes a show-stopper.

Now, what it isn't:
1) It's probably not a problem with mod conflict, as I tried it with extremely light mod setup and even deactivated all other plugins. Still crashes.

2) It shouldn't be a problem with new video card, as I tested old setup with it before re-installing and everything worked right.

3) It shouldn't be a problem with a new drive either, as it doesn't show any errors and everything else loads perfectly fine.
4) It's not a "missing master" or "masters are out of order" problem. Master are there, cleaned with TES5Edit and are in order.
5) It' not about SKSE as I tried it without single SKSE plugin.

6) I'm also using my old .inis, which are optimized according to S.T.E.P. and other good guides. No suspicious lines, messing with Papyrus, etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm at my wit's end here.

Have you tried checking for updated drivers for your new GPU? I know this is a basic thing, but you've covered all the other bases (that I can determine) so this is all I can think of...

Yes, I have the latest drivers.
The thing is, after I installed the new GPU, Skyrim worked fine with all additional sounds. It only broke after re-installing.
However, another affected user has confirmed that he have the same sound/video setup.

Oh, and I checked - any music from any mod is affected, so I crash when entering the gallery from "Legacy of the Dragonborn", for example.
But Skyrim music plays fine. How can it be? =(

Nope, that's not the issue. I actually left only AOS plugin enabled, started the new game and crashed.
It can be some rogue script, however, or some kind of random bug with installing/uninstalling another mod with NMM.
Currently I see the complete re-install as the only solution, but it's interesting that I'm not the one having this issue and several people left similar reports in bug trackers of different sound mods.
