time jumps during dialogues

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Having a mild case of OCD I don't like it when something interferes with my daily schedule in the game, specifically, how much time passes during certain events. I could deal with the time jumps during area liberations and how I have to stare ~7 hours of ingame time doing nothing how the settlers are returning but what I can't get around are the time jumps when some characters tell Geralt a story.

Example: I set out at 7 am from Novigrad to meet Roche to catch Junior, by 6 pm I need to be back in Novigrad to lecture lovely Rosa var Attre some more (because the day before I promised her we would meet tomorrow same time) and at midnight I have randezvous with Triss for another stage of Sigi's treasure. Piece of cake I think since I have slower time script installed BUT when I get to Junior around noon, time fast forwards to little after midnight by the time he's done storytellin (and living) WTF? Why would Geralt listen for 12 hours to a 10-minute story? I know it doesnt matter and I can still do the quests but it messes with my imersion greatly. Is there any line in the r4Game.ws I could change or anything else I could do to fix this?

cheers

Edit: Did some testing and found out that no matter when I initiate the dialogue with Junior, noon, 6pm, 11 pm, the game always continues at 12:24 am, which leads me to believe that Geralts adventure simply continues at the same time when Ciris' interlude ended (since her little adventure with Dandelion and Dudu in Novigrad took place during the night) although they are two completely different time lines. Imho huge oversight on part of devs and most likely nothing can be done about it. I guess I have to go few hours back, do quests in different order, maybe do some meditating so that I arrive at Juniors just before midnight... *sigh*.
