Need help to track down which mod has replaced this door throughout my game.

Throughout my game I am finding this half-door door object. In most instances it is in front of other doors, acting as a teleporter, and it looks okayish. But here, as can be seen, it has replaced the vanilla door, and as it is only a half-door object, there is nothing to conceal the graphics of the walls, and building, on the other side.

I have disabled a few mods mods in the pursuit of the cause, as it is pretty jarring, but none were the cause. I'd really like to figure out which mod has replaced this door with this half-door variant and get rid of it if I can.

Workshop Rearranged

Rebuild - Modular Sanctuary

it is a full door - it is no-clipping through the map.

I have had a similar intermittent problem with

"any door any where"

and "PreWar Sancturary" mod,

where this door would appear and block me from a room or so.

 

noclip mode -

go under the ground, it is a full-size door.

 

I hope that helps somewhat,

and I will be keen to hear what the source for this is -

is it a mod overwrite conflict,

or is it an artifact of bethesda-ness?

Open console, click on the door, type: sv

Look at the data to see if it gives you any hints on which mod it came from (e.g. name of the object, name of an attached script, prefix code used on the variables, etc).

I recognize the door as one I have in homemaker. They are backwards. You must place the glass door, which should be the outer door, (they are 2 doors in one) on the inside for the door to open the correct way for exterior doors on houses, inwards.

Well I'll be damned. You are right. It is clipping through the map. Half the door is buried underground. I have another one in Concord at the Entrance to the "Workhouse". And sure enough, it is clipping through the ground as well.

Gave that a try and no luck. The message said "no papyrus scripts attached", but no other data. :sad:

I don't use Homemaker, and have actually never installed it either. :sad:

 

 

I read that Lexington Project, Lexington Interiors, and Subway Runner were having door placement issues/conflicts (the mods placing loading doors in the same locations), do you by chance have any of those mods?

 

No I don't use any of them. But it was similar thinking that made me try Beantown Interiors. That wasn't it though. It's the darnedest thing. :S

 

Probably some settlement mod, author of which accidentally replaced some vanilla door mesh.

 

Yup. Definitely, but which one? That's the million dollar question. I'm only running a small number of settlement mods too. :sad:

 

 

EDIT - found it. It was the Cliffside Player Home mod. :)
