Audio glitch that leads to a temporary freeze

So, as the titles says, I have been experiencing an audio glitch(the sound effects will cut out, but the radio/background music will still play) and then a couple seconds after that the game will freeze up( but the music will still play) for anywhere from 1-2 seconds to 2 minutes before resuming in a stuttering manner at the exact point that it froze at. It seems to grow worse when I'm in combat, especially large battles with many lasers and explosions. It occurs in both interior and exterior cells, and I cannot consistently replicate it under the exact same conditions. Can anyone help me with this? I don't think it's my mods(plugins.txt attached to this Never mind, cant upload it, so I'll put it below my PC specs), and it shouldn't be my PC. Note that I only started getting this problem around 2 patches ago for Fallout 4. Other than those listed, I do have a few simple texture replacers, I can provide info on them if needed.

 

EDIT: Noticed something odd when I get the freezes. My CPU usage has a large down spike,(large being about 10-25% drop in usage) for about 1-2 seconds.

Note that it is only Fallout 4 that is influenced by this, nothing else on my computer has problems with it or freezes/is impacted in anyway.

I would be very helpful if you post a list of the mods names, instead of the esps. Its sometimes hard to find out what mod stands behind a specific esp.

 

But a good advise is always: turn off true storms, and try again. T.s. is messing around with so many things in the engine, its causing trouble all the way. Its making even raining ghouls inside the prydwen....

Give it a try.

I will try it, but I had already uninstalled TS and replaced it with Vivid Weathers and had the same issue with both mods. Also, I will be making edits to the initial post of this thread to add links to the mods listed over the next day or so. I will edit it with the results of my no TS/Vivid weather run, also. Thanks.

True Storms is working fine for me. Sometimes the game has trouble handling multiple sound sources at once so I'll turn off the radios in the vicinity or reload my game and that fixes it. I also notice that this audio glitch usually happens after extended periods of play when my cpu might be underclocking due to overheating.

I had a similar problem when I used True Storms because too many sounds were playing at once and it was sort of overloading my system. I had to use the LITE audio file to prevent it.

It was True Storms, but it also occurs with Vivid Storms, and when there are too many audio sources. So, weapons, weather, radio, conversations, walking.... etc. Does anyone know if it would be possible to fix this without cutting out the radio and weather(mods)? And I don't think it's due to overheating, my internal temp is about 100-110 degrees F max. I went overkill on the cooling for a reason (watercooled, plus 8 intake fans, 2 out take fans, another each for my power supply and GPU). I think it's the in-game audio system that is the problem, but I am no coder/computer expert.

You'll probably have to ask the mod author for either a "lite sound" plugin (True Storms used to have one) or ask them what sounds you could remove yourself.
