Fatalmasterpiece Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 I'm trying to download this file: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16987/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D16987&pUp=1And when I click on "download manually" the server selection pops up, but then before the file downloads I am redirected to http://www.nexusmods.com/games/? Strange... never had this happen before. Premium Dallas server btw.
vodu2040 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Same issue here...does not matter which file, they all kick me out to http://www.nexusmods.com/games/?
Fatalmasterpiece Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 Update, seems it's happening on every file :/
mystolle Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Happening to me as well. This redirect happens when I use the USA-Dallas Premium server. It was happening a week or two ago and I changed my preference to point to the USA - Washington Premium Server. Now, today, when I click on download using the Washington server, it just hangs and kicks me out. If I go back to Dalls server, it takes me to the Games List page. None of the USA premium servers are working for me.
Pixeldust Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Happens to me too, either directs me to the game page, or it just sits there forever before telling me the page cannot be displayed. Also using the premium download server locations. Happening on any file I attempt to download.
generalmx Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Whoops, I missed this thread. My duplicate thread is here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4959680-site-cant-download-geck-script-in-notepad-utility/ I've been able to download other mods fine though, unlike some of you, but I'm not Premium -- maybe it's just some of the servers and not all?
Fatalmasterpiece Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 Dear friends! A workaround for now is to go to your Nexus preferences page and change your "Favourite download location" to "CDN". Seems to have solved the problem for me for now. Thanks to Mystolle for the idea!
