no its not what you think it is... anyone else tried dual casting telekenesis on 4 gold ingots and then releasing it in someones face? makes for some rather splendid results, should be able to be done with anything with weight, feels like a shotgun with 4 projectiles :whistling: Edited by ddwmk2002

NOOOOOO!!!! NOOO guns in Skyrim for Talos sake!!!! that will ruin everything!!!!! Go play Vietnam, far cry or something!!!!

You don't start to question that there have been no technologically advancement the last, eh, 500 years in Tamriel? And even then, the Dwemer was making machines.

It's by good time some basic magic/soul gem powered gun comes around. A thousand years with alchemy, dwemer technology and magic should really start giving people the idea.

Ehm, did anyone of you two above this post read the OPs posting? He didnt asked for guns ...

And: no, the only time i tried telekensis was to deactivate a soulgem-trap (u know, those annoying things with the fireballs). Didnt worked and i never used it after that :D.

I only tried to smash some stuff into peoples faces with the normal grab key. Doesnt work either >.>. Wantet to bombard people with corpses ...

Why should anyone question that? I mean, it's about 2000 years from the first iron sword to gunpowder in humanity's history. And even though we're usually more advanced when it comes to war, it's about 1600 to 1800 years from Galen's teachings to something we can call modern medicine.

With healing potions and magic that actually works, they would have even less of a reason to advance technology.

They currently know how magic work, how dwemer technology work, how steam work, etc, etc. They practically know how a gun work.

Besides, not everybody like magic. I bet most Nords would prefer a dwemer gun over magic any day.

Oh, I don't know. Perhaps the part were the Dwemer could've made it? Or the fact they know magic?

The dwemer had machines that shot out steam, as the centaurion does. They practically use cannons. I don't see why anit-mages would avoid it, instead of starting to think?
