zaxaramas
Just a thought i had the other day.some way to play skyrim with a friend or two.like borderlands kind of play or like fable.the world could be hosted in a virtual box or something, and then the other players could use software to connect to it, and just play with each otheri know it is a huge amount of work, i would have tried myself, but i cant code very well .i do know it is possible, i would be very grateful if anyone could do it ^_^If anyone takes this and tries to make it, i will help as much as possiblealso if you can, try and make a small chat function -Zack Excuse my English
redskinman316
i dont know about everyone else but elder scrolls is my fav line of rpg because they dont do the stupid thing of multi player.I know a lot of people like multi player but to me it destroys and hope of a story. mult player should be left to shooters. i find level grinding with no story like " WOW " is the most boring thing that ever happen to rpg's. The best rpg's in the history of gaming is the Ultim series and Elder Scrolls

minngarm
Bethesda games are not capable of supporting a stable multiplayer. Weve had this discussion on all of their games from TES and Fallout.
Matth85
Oh come on.. can you guys do a search before posting? I feel there is 2 of these posts every day. TES games does not support multiplayer. We are not allowed to change engine. We are not allowed to port models over to another software to add multiplayer. As far as I am aware, the engine is not altered to follow a "Host - server" function, where somebody host and somebody joins. There will probably be somebody trying to do this, but it would probably have to go undercover after a while, since they'd need other softwares or a new engine, both which breaks the EULA and copyright law. blackbird1
ohh and one more thing if this guy pulls it off and the mod is successful. this mod would be the single greatest mod of all time in the elder scrolls series. this would open more doors in the Skyrim than ever before. think about it. insanely hard missions that can only be completed by 2 or more players. riding dragons together in the sky. or one could be in storm cloaks and one could be in Imperials. both could battle it out. the possibilities with this mod could be endless. the only thing to do now is to get it to work. i think the safest option would be to do LAN co op first then over the internet.
