TheVanAcht
I'm trying to make my Skyrim game more Lore-Friendly on what we knew from other entries from the Elder Scrolls series, and what we learn in them is that Skyrim is land full of snow, and the only place where it isn't snowing all the time is the Reach (Markarth's hold). That's why I'm wondering if there is any mod to fill Skyrim with snow except for the Reach. Any help is appreciated. (Sorry for my English it isn't my native language)
iXenite
Use the Winter Edition of this mod. Make sure to read the entire mod page to fully understand how everything works. AlarictheVisgoth
A superior weather overhaul mod is the winter edition version of Climates of Tamriel aka CoT. Get it from the download tab here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/17802/? Youtube video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZX8fahMQCg And as before, be sure to read all the info about the mod prior to installing If you really want the survivalist, realistic/immersive experience though, install these mods also on Nexus: Chesko's Frostfall (mandatory), Campfire (lets your PC do exactly what the mod says), and Art of Fishing mods (adds realistic fishing animations that lets you catch fish based on skill)Winter is Coming and Cloaks of Skyrim mods (to keep you warm against cold/frostbite & exposure)An eating/food needs mod like RND or Imp's More Complex Needs (recommend Imp's mod as it has a superior nutritional food/health system and works with any food mod)Wet & Cold (and Wet & Cold Holidays to make the world even more fun!)Fishing in Skyrim and Improved Fishing in Skyrim (both add fishing poles and more variety fish)At minimum, install Hunterborn and Real Wildlife Skyrim mods. Animallica is another great critter mod to consider. All of these critter mods go well with Frostfall & Campfire. There are a ton of excellent food mods up on Nexus that will help you survive the wilderness and what these mods throw your way. Some good ones that work well with IMCN & RND are: Babbette's Feast: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/5816/? BRG Gourmet: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69637/? Wolferoo's Cooking: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1368/? Herbal teas: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33253/? If you're going to be out in the arctic wilderness, then you'd best be damned prepared----or be ready to take one to the knee......
