Follower AI really pissed me off this time

I was exploring a dungeon with Erandur, when I happened to find a word wall across a large room. Ran towards it, and fell into a trap. I was locked in a cage one floor below while a wizard decided to kill me. Erandur materialised outside of the cage -maybe there was a safe staircase somewhere- and he stood outside of the cage looking at me like he was retarded. The mage, meanwhile, was blabbering on about some crap about killing me or something.

Me: Quick, Erandur! Unlock this cage door!

Erandur: No. I won't. (Apparently he was programmed to be the "honourable" type, no lockpicking, stealing etc.)

Me: F&*%...

I had to pick the damned Expert-level lock myself, and for some reason whenever the pick broke I was kicked out of the lockpicking screen, taking serious fire damage from outside the cage before I had to press E to pick the lock once more. Seriously annoying.

Rotfl i remember that place. Also he isn't really classified as a enemy so he wont attack him. also just kill the mage with magic or bow - if you hide from his attacks he will walk up and you can stab him. once dead i believe the door auto opens. :thumbsup:

Sloppy. I always walk around dungeons. They're not that big so I try to savour them, by not running. My smug Nord spotted that trap and killed the mage with no problems. The follower should have helped you though; I hope you fired him afterwards.
