punch ups for mods. (outside input for mods)

I was reading about comedians and other people who are called into an already mostly done project to do what are called punch ups.

where they try to and more comic punch.

I was thinking about plot punch in mods.

fallout new vegas has had some really good quest mods. some are perfect as is.

but some could have definitely used some outside creativity when it came to dialogue, dialogue options, different ways a quest could go.

when you think of a quest line, you probably have some good ideas on different outcomes. but if there is one thing I have learned from vanilla skyrim, it is that there was not an outside voice that thought outside the box.

anyway, I did some voice over work for new vegas bounties, and am not a modder, but I am very willing to be an alpha playtester. I am also willing to read and edit dialogue. a million years ago I got a degree in english. I write a lot for my career. It would be fun to edit dialogue.

just wanted to put that out there.

I am also not a modder. But more than one mod I have used could have benefited from

grammar/spelling editor

more interesting dialogue.

more than one way to finish quest

narrative and dialogue writing are a different skill set from coding/ mod making. easier, I think think because you get it from just reading a lot,

if I did make a quest mod, I would want feedback/collaborators.

do most mod makers work alone?

Yep I think they do. Well at least in the BGS modding scene. Other scenes vary. Some mod scenes are very team orientated. There are team and collaborative efforts in TES modding, but the number of mods that are solo made is probably much greater.

I try to get some feedback on what I am working on though. Most feedback I get isn't very useful.. but it's worth fishing for some just in case.
