Hello, Mod Makers (praise be on to thee)

i was just wondering if any one was currently working on making FO4 just a bit...Sloottier. you know beyond the armor and body mods. i saw mention of a Sextec on Lovers lab though it's still in the work shop. mostly i want to know how long until people like me can enjoy the same for lack of a better word that Nexus won't censor: lover's affection.

please feel free to reply with any news.

An interesting question about FO4

my mod-fu is not as strong, though I have seen quite a few trying to add

to this area of the game.

It was an area of the game not as explored...

In past FO games, there have been that oldest of professions,

and the characters can be redeemed or can be companion etc...

In FO4,

It is even hinted at, at a subway station in north boston near the institute...

an array of cages, and some chair etc.

in past FO game,

you could 'charm' people, with 'charisma', etc...

as a non-violent alternative to progress some story arcs.

let us not forget FONV's Veronica...

it was lamentable what happen to her, merely for her outlook eh?

her companion? vaporized.

Veronica? sent on suicide missions and banished to I-85.

I could misunderstand you of course,

maybe you don't care as much about FO4 story or gameplay as much as

the Witcher-3 level of 'vicarious mod' or so... taking FO4 and making it into something else...

to each their own.

-----

"Candy" area - the gigolo and strumpet plying their trades,

of any sort, just trying to get along in the wasteland...

I had seen a couple of different projects on this theme -

quest mod arcs:

"Pimpifying Deacon: Deacon is embroiled in a messy web after several different folks notice Deacon...

deacon is abducted, and it is up to you and several others - Deacon's Harem - to save Deacon..."

"Retrieving the Bread-winner" - one of the settlers from the 'Candy" place at your settlement has been abducted, or

a customer didn't pay properly... sort out that mess.

"I Gotta Go to Da Hospital" - after a time with a strumpet or gigolo, you attain the 'diseased' attribute which gets progressively worse. a Perception of 5 or greater lets you know what the disease harms to you... you have to go to the doctor, the longer you leave it... the more damaging the 'STI or candy disease' will get. the doctor will make odd remarks as "oh... you've seen a lot of 'action'... I get it... we'll see what we can do"

or if it is the preacher/paston doctor "well, you know... prevention is often better than the cure..."

"Lover's Reunion" - a member of the Atom Cats shares their secret past, and you must aid them in returning to their friend.

the old friend may or may not be the return of a familiar protectron from previous FO games.

"Raider Mod - you are like Grognak more than the Shroud - you're a raider, and you're there to raid the denizens of the Commonwealth. -

the player can 'pacify' enemies and all, and can assign them to settlements to work as 'slaves'...

"hath no fury..." - an ambient quest, a randomly generated NPC approaches the player character, claiming to have been intimately involved against their will. you have some options - "I'll come quietly" and you are taken to a settlement tribunal,

"I don't know what you're on about" - the person is revealed as a fraud who attack you

"I've never been to x,y,z" -the person is revealed as a raider.

- this mod was briefly up, and was a duplication of the 'credit card fraud' ambient quest... which was funny.

the audio say one thing, the buttons and player response another...

"Diversifying the Portfolio" - Sheng Kowalsk from Diamond City, at the ripe age of 9, wants to expand his business into

'Candy barony" - he wants to clean up that racket like he cleaned up the water-racke... he means, water 'trade', in diamond city...

this was an awesome mod, though it had issues from day 1.

New Lands Mod

"the slaves of penn-syl-van-ee-aaaah"

in homage to "Rocky Horror Picture Show", a new land and quests mod was proposed, set in Pennsylvania.

A doctor revives a supermutant, and broadcasts as much over some radio... etc.

this project got fairly far along.

"Return to the Pitt..."

a small area of The Pitt is brought into FO4.

a few scripts were also being proposed...

when you enter a settlement,

settlers assigned to 'XXX candy' area will approach the player character and offer their services.

this is very HUMOROUS if you have a 'klinger'-esque defender character that is re-assigned to the XXX Candy...

the gigolo or strumpet will ask for various payment options -

food/water - caps - ammunition, or to solve something for them...

you can politely decline, sternly decline, violently resolve or ignore...

script to make Player Companions request intimacy after a period of time etc;

eg

Cait will have in-game a month or so,

CVRIE a few random times a week

Piper - seldom if at all.

Hancock - at random, for any player kind...

Danse - seldom if at all.

Dogmeat - only with perk.

Codsworth - never.

Preston - a month or so.

this mod had issues - it caused player affinity to be stuck in negative or ,

for player companions to disappear.

Doctor settlers make remark about the candy area...

"Books" (school) teach about the pro or con of Candy.

some settlements forbid "Candy" outright,

a script to forbid it being built at natick hotel etc.

------

I hope that gives some state of the art,

there are a lot of different mods modders are making in this area

to increase the options for gameplay.

Personally I am not holding my breath. I think it's too early to expect any real progress on stuff like that yet. It all depends on your expectations. I mean, there isn't something as iinocuous as a handshake or a kiss between two characters in the game let alone anything trashier. I am just a player, not a modder. If past experience has taught me anything, (and this is just an opinion) the game might become 'too old' to bother with in a couple years. People already complain about how buggy parts of the game are, and how adding new things to it makes it worse.
