JoeB1961
If someone would please, there are a few questions I do have for Skyrim Remastered. 1. Will Skyrim Remastered be recognized by NMM as a completely new game so as not to mess with my original modded Skyrim? 2. Will the master files still need to be cleaned with TES5edit like the original Skyrim? 3. Will we still be able to backup the un-modded game folder for Skyrim Remastered like we were able to for original Skyrim to save a clean copy of unmodded Skyrim Remastered to revert to if we wish to start over instead of having to re-install Skyrim Remastered? 4. Should we still choose an alternate install directory outside of Program Files? I'm sure that I've missed some questions as well, but if these could be answered that would be wonderful, thank you :)
LordNyron
Within a day or two of the games launch, NMM will be update to support SSE, it will be separate from Skyrim Legendary Edition so you don't have to worry about it messing with your mods. I just want to make sure this is all done right this time as my original Skyrim install I did not realize about cleaning Update.esm, installing LOOT, TES5Edit.....etc. and other things that Gopher touched on in many of his youtube videos before it was far too late in my playthrough, though that playthrough is now on save 9,860 and running quite well with 247 mods lol

I never once cleaned my files and I haven't heard anyone mention whether or not the new stuff needs to be cleaned with the new version of TES5Edit. I only had an answer for the first question. Someone else will probably be able to answer everything else.

Ok I'm beginning to think that Skyrim Remastered should be thought of as the original and do whatever needs to be done for utilities and cleaning Update.esm like for the original Skyrim. We can probably use the S.T.E.P recommendations on how and what to install as well I'm thinking :) Can anyone confirm this please? :)

schnubbel76
Will the old NMM i use (version 0.56.1) recognize SSE? Because i switched to version 0.6 only once....... and it totally broke my game and f*#@ed it up. I had to reinstall everything, went back to 0.56.1 and swore to myself never to install the version from 0.6 on. So, can i stay with NMM 0.56?
