Thanks Thandal! The encouragement is very much appreciated, and keeps me going

G4. (v3.0) "Watchguard of the Reaching": If Shah Wyrd kills Petra, Keili and Kinnon during the final fight of this quest, even if Wynne has been recruited and is in your party, Wynne's codex entry would be updated with "While trying to save what was left of the Circle, Wynne was cut down by (Player).", and in fact, any future dialogues and scripts checking to see if you killed Wynne would return true, probably breaking quite a bit more than just a bad codex entry. Fixed.

Hi LadyHonor,

No, not yet, I won't be addressing that until I get to Redcliffe and can test any changes I make there. Gotta finish the Circle first, and we all know how long it takes to get through the Fade, heh.

At the very least, though, I'm 99% sure I will be able to at least remove references to "Why didn't you get help from the Circle" if the Circle doesn't exist anymore. The only reason I can think of that I couldn't do that is if there's no alternative voiced lines in that dialogue bit, and I think there are.

Well, I've reconsidered eliminating the ability to change party on the 4th floor of the tower. Why? Because I discovered that after you exit the Fade, you can run all the way back down to the 1st floor where you first picked up Wynne and change party *there* too. My eliminating it on the 4th floor wouldn't do anything more than just inconvenience players into running all the way down to accomplish the same thing. And if I mess with the party change downstairs too, that could interfere with the party change that is forced on you when you actually pick Wynne up for the first time.

Personally I think it's kinda silly that there's any change allowed beyond the first one when you pick up Wynne (and that one only because it's unavoidable), considering the doors are barred and not even the mages of the Tower could get through - but Dog can? Pfft. But, oh well, considering there's 2 places where it's possible, it'd be way too invasive to try to eliminate them and I can't be sure it was unintentional anymore.

So instead I'll just be making sure that nothing goes wrong when Wynne isn't in the party. I already found the bug in Cullen's dialogue where Disembodied Wynne talks if you kicked her from the party (and in fact, she has lines in that dialogue that can ONLY be spoken by Disembodied Wynne, if she's in your party you won't hear them).

An interesting discovery in my perusals of the dialogue files: There's a LARGE dialogue chain in the discussion post-Uldred that you can never see, which deals with if the player is a blood mage. If he is, Wynne calls him out in front of everyone, and unless you pass a High coercion check, you will wind up having to fight Wynne, Irving, Greagoire and pretty much everyone else up there. From the code I can tell it disables the ability to have the mages help in Redcliffe (duh) but I don't know what effect it would have on the game as a whole, if neither Templars nor Mages can help in the final battle. I'll keep an eye when reviewing dialogues as I go to see if the variables set by that event do anything, but for the time being I have to presume it was disabled deliberately, so not going to change it. Too bad, though, I always thought it was silly that you can be a blood mage and NO one cares.

G6. (v3.0) Fixed a bug in Cullen's dialogue when you first find him where some of Wynne's dialogue could *only* be heard as a disembodied voice and only when Wynne had been dismissed from the party and was back at the party camp.

G7. (v3.0) If Irving survived and surrendered to the Templars, his codex entry would state that he died. Fixed.

G8. (v3.0) When you first meet Wynne, if you decide to destroy the Circle and tell Leliana that you don't recall asking for her opinion, Alistair's disembodied voice will say you're getting it anyway if he's not in the party at the time.
