moxica
I have a whole storyline in mind. I would like to see a mod that gives the female character a middle sized pregnant belly. Basically a woman thrown out of her tribe or clan for being "with child" and without a husband. She has to make a life for herself, abandoned by her people. I would love to create one myself but I have no modding experience. Is it very complicated to make one? If someone would be kind enough to to direct me to a tutorial for body replacers, I'll try it myself.I know it wouldn't be very popular, so it probably wouldn't be worth the effort for someone else to make it.If there is one available that would be great.Any help that could be given would be very much appreciated!!Thanks
xenxander
I can forsee many problems with wearing armor and how that would clash with a round tummy. Not sure if it would get in the way of other animations, though I don't think so.
Sypron
The easiest way to do it is to decide on what clothes/armor this NPC will wear, then make a new model based of that with a large belly. If the person takes it off or changes it, they loose the pregnancy, but NPC's don't normall do that. There are limits to how large you can make the belly without it having animation bugs, but I think half-pregnant should be fine.

moxica
Thank you all!I realized that point, about the armor, later on in the day.I'm a stealth fanatic and I decided that this work would be a total stealth based character. In other words, no complex armor. She'll basically be a wanderer, hunter and a herbalist that uses bows, daggers and has high sneak. (You guys ever read/see Clan of the Cavebear?) I plan to use the TFF nude model as a foundation, since it looks kinda pregnant, anyway. I need to add a bit more arch to the back and a slightly bigger belly. I'm only going for the beginning stages of pregnancy. If I decide to go with a nude woman, then there will be minor breast adjustments, as well. It's just gonna be a few tweaks here and there. I thought I'd have to come up with some simple clothing like linen, leather, and fur tunics. That way I wouldn't have to worry about armor so much. Any armor will be in the form of a simple thick leather piece, in front. After lots of experience, I would like to even have her hold her belly with her left arm, when she runs, but that's for another day. It's gonna be a major task, but I'm pretty determined. With your advice and help, I'm off to a good start.I'm very appreciative! If I don't kill myself at some point, I'll let yopu know how it comes out. Thanks again! I think I'll start with that, as changing a body is seeming to be more difficult. Thanks!!

That just sounds really funny :P And Moxica - I'd be interested in this! It sounds like a really interesting idea - I'd definitely download it! moxica
I have about 2 more weeks of school to complete. It's work related and it's very time consuming. Once I complete the course, I'll start work on this.In the meantime, I'm reading as much as I can about creating clothing, altering skins, and creating quests.I just hope I can put it all to use, once I send off my last test. I have been tampering around with one particularly agressive NPC. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate her in the little sub story.I think my goals have become a bit unrealistic. (You guys ever read/see Clan of the Cavebear?)Sorry, just had to reply, this was weird. When I read the title of your post, before opening it, I kid you not, I thought of Clan Of the Cavebear, now I just read what you wrote, whoa, really strange (been on this site so long I'm starting to read minds now, lol).I like the idea & wish you luck in it. moxica
I was actually considering trying to add a sling as a weapon. Lol.I thought that it would be possible, if I used a single punch movement, but that is so far beyond my abilities, I didn't waste much time on the thought.Great book, though!
