Starsickle
It sounds really good on paper, but I have some concerns I want you to think carefully about as you continue: 1. Morrowind (especially Vvaardenfel) was completely decimated.2. As it was being destroyed, it was invaded and occupied by the Argonians - it's now part of "The Argonian state". The Lizards are in charge now. More than likely they killed everything in their way. The war was an opportunity for blind revenge, and they got it. If the Dark Elves if they aren't dead or slaves, they are not in charge and their culture in danger. These are two huge problems right off the bat. There isn't much left of Morrowind as any of us know it. Other problems: The houses as you listed them don't exist as they did anymore. House Redoran was more or less destroyed on the island and I wouldn't be surprised if they fell apart on the mainland as well during the Oblivion Crisis. If there's anyone left in Redoran, they'd be more or less forgotten and their power irrelevant. Their wealth was exhausted, their power crumbling, their numbers decimated. Redoran is dead. The same goes for House Indoril, which was assumed to have completely fallen apart after the events of TES3, and probably also did not survive the Oblivion Crisis and Argonian Blitzkrieg. They are dead or suffered implosion and dissolution. House Hlallu may have some interesting potential, but I would be very careful - they probably didn't survive the calamities of the fourth age without changing substantially. This would be very interesting to explore. House Telvanni is likely to have been eradicated, save for any crafty Mage lords capable of defending themselves or isolating themselves - although it is unlikely. The Argonians made a Deadric lord Quit - it's likely the powerful Telvanni Mage lords are gone. House Dres is likely demolished. Dead. Their wealth is probably loot in some Argonian Living room. It's cool that you want to bring Morrowind to Skyrim, but please be careful and read everything you can in Skyrim and find some folks to discuss what the place would really be like after so much has happened. You are going somewhere with who would worship what, although I would pay close attention to the things Dark elves say in combat - it seems Nerevar has gained something beyond sainthood. Nerevar's legacy was propped up by the Tribunal, so consider the idea that the tribunal temple may now revolve exclusively around Nerevar and Azura. The External Forces at work are right on, although I would wonder if the Altmer/Thalmor are even interested in projecting power over the smoking and smoldering heap that Morrowind likely is. (other than trying to end the world) That's all I have! Good luck!

Bismarck
All that crap Bethesda makes up is unbelievable. At least the Telvanni in Port Telvannis, which lies on an island to the east of Morrowind, would have likely survived the Oblivion crisis and the Nords and Argonians (who surprisingly didn't suffer under the Oblivion crisis?). Invading boats burn well.House Indoril might have survived in the Necrom area, but their beloved Tribunal is dead and someone must have noticed during all that time that Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha Sil have left them. Maybe they could start worshipping Nerevar and Azura. The Dres probably got what they deserved and maybe the Twin Lamps would have good relations with the Argonians. The Hlaalus always were good at switching sides to survive. Maybe some of them are still around.House Redoran consisted of fighters, so it could be rebuilt by a group of strong Dunmer warriors.House Dagoth is dead and most of the blighted creatures were probably killed by adventurers, ashlanders, temple supporters and of course the buoyant armigers. The East Empire Trading Company might still be interested in exploiting the resources. If we respect the lore, then we could do the following: a much older Nerevar returns and kicks ass in order to safe his people. He is supported by Azura's counsel as she too would like to protect her Dunmer. When Nerevar went on that expedition to Akavir, several agents of the Great Houses could have accompanied/followed him and when they return to their province, they will be very interested to restore (most of) the Great Houses they were born into. The god-like Nerevar returns, the Great Houses get rebuilt, the Argonians get kicked out and Morrowind is recovering. Sounds like an epic campaign. My Dunmer character would gladly join such a worthy cause.
Gebreth
My two-cents... For Vvardenfell, it all depends if red mountain is awake. The corruption from Dagoth Ur died with him, so no more foul winds that corrupt plants and creatures alike. And it's been 150 years since the red year, the majority of the island should be green and lush again (look at volcanic islands in the real world). The foyada could be different of course, and maybe the earthquakes make some dwemer ruins re-opened, and the empire some new ebony mine... As for the argonians, how do we know they occupy the land? All they seems interested in is revenge for centuries of slavery, so they get there, destroyed the remaining great houses, and go back to black marsh. Lachdonin
Argonians (who surprisingly didn't suffer under the Oblivion crisis?) This is actually all very well explained. The Argonians were prepared for the Oblivion Crisis when it hit, because of the Hist. The Hist warned the Argonians, united the multitude of tribes and readied them for war before the first Daedra stepped through a portal. When they did so, the Argonians counter attacked, invading Oblivion its self and causing such havoc that Dagon resolved to shut all the portals in Blackmarsh with the resolution he'd deal with it later. stabbykitteh
What do we do if somewhere in development bethesda announces dlc in morrowind? I doubt they would be covering the whole province in a DLC. It's a big place. Wait and see what they include and howand then add on? Might actually make things easier. Existing assets and all. I would think they would be announcingsomething relatively soon regarding the first DLC, but we're still waiting on the CK, so...
demidekidasu
What do we do if somewhere in development bethesda announces dlc in morrowind? Doesn't mean it can't be done by modders at the same time... Or does it? lol As for my earlier offer to do music if this mod ever gets made and goes down the route where custom music would be required, here are a couple of examples of my work:http://soundcloud.com/protoneutro/the-hero-fallshttp://soundcloud.com/protoneutro/the-lost
Lachdonin
One interesting thing to explore would be the fact that, while not expressed in the game Morrowind, the Dunmer were not exclusivly organized into the 5 Great Houses. There were numerous lesser houses who constantly vied for power. The destruction of all but possibly 1 of the Great Houses would certianly open room for any of these smaller houses to expand. It would offer the potential for a dozen or more factions within Morrowind each competing for supremicy, all with the Empire trying to maintain some sembilance of control.
