superdink25
I've been having a lot of trouble with installing mods using NMM recently, it seems that almost every time I try to activate something i download(most notably the CROSS mods and the Doombased weapons) I either get an error message saying: A problem occurred during install:The process cannot access the file "C:\Users\*My User*\Appdata\Local\Temp\NexusModManager\(After this point it depends on the mod i tried).esp" because it is being used by another another process. The Mod was not installed' But whenever I go the the NexusModManager folder, I find it completely empty. What's going on? What did I do wrong? I seriously have no clue what's going. Edited October 29, 2016 by superdink25

chucksteel
Have you guys tried to download the mod manually then use NMM to install from archive? It works like the "Download With Manager" but, it install from the rar or 7z archive you have locally.

chucksteel
You could also try a manual download and manual install it's not hard and even easier if the mod has archives packed. it only gets complicated for mods that have options like Full Dialogue interface. (example because it has language and other options)
