Dragnacity
the way I see it is, Remaster makes the original redundant, I'd rather have SE installed, and skyrim OG has so many fantastic mods, I know it just came out but the page for mods looks so barren, Does it take a long time to retool the mods for SE? or is the interest in it just very low? also this is the first time I've used this forum. doctorhr2
Hello  I think until SKSE is upgraded (in progress but a huge task as it has to be practically redone from scratch and retooled if/when Bethesda release a patch) and SKYUI comes out, a lot of the big mods will have to wait. But be patient as we now have a 64bit engine the capacity to go much much further than before. Just don't uninstall your 32bit Skyrim yet.
Boombro
We need a script extender and Skyui first. Till then, we have to wait.
doctorhr2
Then again, it depends on your definition of an amazing mod... There are some great ones already available that don't require SKSE/SkyUI to work. Live Another Life, Forgotten City...

Live Another Life, Forgotten City...Sorry, I personally am referring to the visual mods that can make skyrim look fantastic as opposed to great vanilla. so far its a blast replaying skyrim, I haven't really "played" it since it came out, It sort of became a living mod meme haha, being limited by special edition is actually pretty nice. SMB92
I have to say, this is a rather silly question. Of course there is interest in it, it's a 64 bit amped up version of Skyrim! Don't mean to sound rude. I'm like you, I find my 80gb Oldrim install to be redundant now. So in meantime I will clock it at vanilla and get all the achievements while waiting :). hpyndlby
Yeah, personally I think I'll wait to play SkyrimSE until more of my old favorite mods have made their way over to SE. The little I played wasn't bad, but the characters still look like crap in my opinion. I'm mainly looking for the mods that make the characters look better; different bodies, Apachii Sky Hair, etc.

For textures, you can port them yourself. For enb, you will have to wait at lest two years to be like Skyrim last enbs.
