What is your least favorite thing about Skyrim.

I have to say that I love this game, rating it one of my favourite games of all time.

One small niggle, in a similar vein to anyone being allowed to join any guild, is that when in those guilds, its actually easier to do their quests as another class, e.g. the mage related quests seem to have many enemies with lightning (depleating majicka), so it was easier to just tank the damage using heavy armour and kill enemies with weapons (not magic). Another example is stealth missions which are easier to be completed by killing everyone with a big axe or firebolt etc.

I tend to agree with an earlier poster about the leveled loot. I was just playing a few hours ago and I ran into a random, nameless Nord NPC that tried to kill me simply because I was a Khajiit and she was wearing Iron armor, Iron Boots, Iron Gauntlets, wielding a Dwemer Mace and sporting a Daedric shield and I'm just like "Ya know, that set of weapons and armor just goes together. It just makes so much sense that you would have a Dwemer Mace and a Daedric Shield with your Iron Armor." (For those of you who don't get it, that was sarcasm.) Another thing is emotionless NPC's with the WORST lip-sinking I have ever since since 2001 PC games. I mean, seriously! At least, in New Vegas when they moved their mouth it at least LOOKED like they were saying something similar. Completely, shallow and back-story-less NPC's. The only NPC in the game that I actually gave a crap about gets killed as part of a quest and there's nothing you can do about it because you have to save his spirit form in another quest later on. The "big plot twist" in the Main Quest was predictable. I saw that coming the minute I started talking to the Greybeards. The map, while initially amusing, is more annoying than useful. The dungeons are essentially a giant circle ending up back at the Main entrance and last but definitely not least, the "skill" system. It's completely and utterly BORKED. It's so broken the word used to describe it has been broken. Honestly, these days, I'm having more fun modding the game than I am playing and that kinda depresses me since I've been waiting for this game since the announcement of The Shivering Isles. If nothing else, I still have New Vegas installed....

So far, the miniature questlines. Played through the College of Winterhold, was shocked at the lack of judgment on the part of the mages, and I have delayed playing the other factions because it's likely the other factions are populated with similar idiots.

Close runner-up for least favorite is that the CK hasn't been released yet, so modders can't straighten all this out.

The fact that I had to think about this for a decent amount of time just shows how awesome and amazing this game truly is. With that being said, there are always little things that the developers could have done giving a little more time or more feedback. My biggest grievance with this game is their lack of involvement with the Psiijic order. It's almost as if they tease you with the college of Winterhold quest line, then they are out of the game just as quickly as they entered, and their robes aren't even accessible without console commands. Oh well, maybe there will be a Psiijic order quest line in the future, with DLC perhaps? A player can only hope :P.

you know, that psjic guy called quanor or something, he is still there even after you finish the mages guild quest line....

not sure if this is a spoiler, as it doesnt contain any quest/treasure etc. That psjic guy is still walking around in winterhold inn. I even attempted to snipe him with my bow but he didnt die. Glitch?????

Mine is that it is TOO dynamic. What I mean is that I am forced to fast travel. There is no real point of exploring. As quests come in, you are running around the world. You can either take 5 hours to run from Solitude to Riften for the Umteenth time or simply fast travel.

This poses another issue: factions. I went Stormcloak (for lack of any reasoning). I am free to walk around an Imperial city like Solitude?

Perhaps they don't know what side you're on? i haven't tested it, but maybe they'd react differently if you wore Stormcloak armor into solitude.
