  1. Well, mobo burnt out on me a few months back and I have been feverishly saving up for a new PC (time to upgrade anyway). Hopefully, soon, I'll be back to gaming and modding again.
  2. Good to see you back.
  3. Well, guys, I am officially back. I am working on updating my mods and will be looking forward to working with some of you again.
  4. Hey, guys, Vincent here. Some of you guys might know me, some of you might night. I'm coming back to Skyrim modding after a long hiatus and I'm going to be updating all of my Skyrim mods BUT I need a little help. I've been searching around for tutorials on the CK and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a tutorial that tells me a little more about factions, how they function and how to create new ones. Allow me to elaborate: I'm currently working on updating my Accessible Vendor Chest mod and what I'd like to do is create a new faction of NPCs that guard the shops while they're closed so they'd have to be allied with the shopkeeper faction. Up until now that mod had regular City Guards in the shops acting as guards since their AI is similar to how I would like to have the shop guards but the problem with that is after you finish the Civil War quest line the guards in the shops that were allied with the losing faction will now attack the player and other NPCs in the shop and well, we just can't have that. Also, any tutorials about how to make randomly generated NPCs (similar to how Guards, Bandits and Mercenaries are generated) would be greatly appreciated.
  5. So, I'm probably gonna be coming back to Skyrim here pretty soon. So if I get all my old stuff back I'll probably be modding again too.
  6. Oh, nice. I'm glad that the Script Extender and TESEdit made a comeback for Skyrim. That'll make a lot of mod projects much easier.
  7. Hey, everybody. I know some of you may or may not remember me but I used to be a very active member here on the Nexus. I stepped away from Skyrim long before the first DLC became available and I'm just now coming back and wondering how the community's doing as far as mods and mod projects. Anything really big, new or exciting going on these days or is Skyrim modding more dead than it was before the CK was released?
  8. The Emperor met his death with dignity and honor and as an assassin that values honor more than gold, I must carry out his last request. As far as Amaund Motierre goes, it was nothing personal. It's just business.
  9. Okay. I've got a strange one for you guys. My game is crashing constantly but only when I fire an arrow when I'm zoomed in. I've already done the install/re-install and it's still crashing even though my new install does not have any mods. Has anyone else had this problem? It only happens when I'm firing a bow. It's aggravating because I usually play as an archer.
  10. Hey, everybody, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum but I wasn't sure where it would be appropriate to post this. My Skyrim has been crashing a lot lately, usually when I'm fully zoomed in with a bow and immediately after I release the arrow. So, to try to figure out which mod I'm having that is causing the crash (I'm assuming that it's a mod) I'm looking for a way to either make TES4Edit, FO3Edit or FNVEdit compatible with Skyrim. I remember seeing a post a long time ago where someone had gotten it to work but I couldn't remember how they did it or if it still worked how it was supposed to. I was hoping that someone here would be able to provide some helpful advice. Again, I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forums.
  11. I gotta say, that is one of the first Skyrim skits that actually had me laughing so hard that I literally fell out of my chair.
  12. I just now realized what it was. I downloaded all the Files from Breezes NV Males EXCEPT for the actual body replacer. The body replacer was leftover from Roberts mod (which is not as good IMO hence the switch). :wallbash: Thanks for the input.
  13. Hey, everybody, well after a 2 year hiatus I've decided to return to New Vegas while everyone gets over the excitement of Skyrim and the really good mods start coming out. Anyway, I found and downloaded Breezes New Vegas Males a mod that I used to have back in the day and for some reason, it's not working properly. I know I have to activate ArchiveInvalidation through FOMM which I did but now whenever I equip any type of armor the skin textures look like this: http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab318/Vyticoz/New%20Vegas%20Character/error.jpg But the naked body has the correct textures: http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab318/Vyticoz/New%20Vegas%20Character/correct.jpg Is there someone who can help me figure out why the correct textures aren't being displayed? EDIT: I did some checking around in my .ini files and in the Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini there's a line that says: [Archive] SInvalidationFile= Shouldn't it look more like: [Archive] SInvalidationFile=ArchiveInvalidation.txt or has one of the patches obsoleted this method of ArchiveInvalidation? If so, where do I need to get the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file from? I have the latest version with all of the DLC's. If that makes any difference.
  14. Honestly, I'm pretty much done with Skyrim for right now. The Nexus (Skyrim) has just been FLOODED with new modders and new mods so for now, I'm going back to New Vegas until all this flooding stops and all the excitement dies down.
  15. Hey, guys, I'm trying to help someone figure out how to fix their mod and I've run into a little problem. Is there a way to create a Concentration cast spell with a Magnitude Value so it can be cast continuously? I've done some playing around and I've noticed if I changed the Magnitude from 0.00 to anything with a positive number the spell will cast the appropriate effect (slowing down time) but it will only cast it for 1 second. I want to be able to cast it continuously. If anyone wants to help or take a look at the mod in question it is: Time Freeze Spells by Nitrowon It's a pretty nice little mod but it's got a few bugs that need to be worked out and I for one would love to see this mod fully functional. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. If not, move along. Nothing to see here. :whistling:
