Sjeng77
Wait for Christmas, check Steam. There might be a discount. They often do that at the holidays. And it's definately worth it!
csgators
$60...202 hours in a little over a month. More than worth the money. When the CK comes out it will become a new a game so I can easily see doubling that 200 hours. Right now I am 29 cents an hour. If you can't afford that you can't afford anything. Artistdude05
Everyone put it in better words than I can on why you should get the game. I will say though that if your still on the fence about buying the game, and own either a PS3 or Xbox360, see about renting the game for a weekend and giving it a try on the console. ginnyfizz
To the OP I would say that you might well be better off if you don't get it until February. By then Bugthesda will have (a) released a few more of their rather interesting patches which will perhaps fix some of the more obvious howlers of bugs (well don't hold your breath on that one), and more importantly (b) They will have released the CK and the modders will have fixed said bugs for them. justwannaddl
Wait at least a month after the CK is released if you want to avoid the hit or miss bugs to be found in Skyrim. It will also give modders time to make viable alternatives to the widely panned UI. Beth games are some of the few that are better played later than earlier. BlackTwist
On the computer yes but on a console you may want to d some research before purchasing!
Phillydee
I have it on the XBox and PC, I am waiting a few months for you great modders to finish up and I'll start PC, but playing a lot and having great time on Xbox for now (Still occasionally play super modded oblivion as well) so absolutely it is worth the money, I am having a blast and haven't had any game breaking issues on the console to this point
ringgold99
If you are on the PC then I would wait until February or March to see what the modders can and cannot do with this game.
ringgold99
The overall Gameplay is much easier and more streamlined than either Oblivion or Morrowind. And this is reason enough for me not to recommend it.
Matth85
And this is reason enough for me not to recommend it. The newer generation of gamers enjoy streamlined games. Heck, in my own generation RPing is about dead. Though I still like open-experienced games. I suggest getting this game either way. There is no other game, other than Skyward Sword, that is worth it as much as Skyrim. You can play 100 houres, come back a year, and play 100 more. It totally beats the 10 houres FPS out there.
