I've made a few additions as per readmes and suggs (thanks Jeoshua), but now I have missing meshes on weapons and apparel when adding FWE - FOOK compatibility patches. BOSS tells me I have old version of the patch but I can't find an updated version, this was the one from Nexus site. I still have crashing, and I'm sure that I have created more problems, though not noticed any more than ones mentioned. Also, do I need Darnified Extras esp? If so can someone point me right direction please. I am unsure of FOOK 2 load order in relation to others main esps, and I now understand that I have had a few follower packages running initially; I got rid of some but not clear which are ones to keep. I thought initially that this would be easy but I admit that I'm beaten on this one. Shame coz mods really make a difference. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
M48A5 Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 It would appear that you have at least two mods trying to do the same things. VATS halftime and VATS realtime would appear to conflict with each other. I think you should choose one or the other. Also, Restore tracers and restore tracers-automatics only. You should choose which you want to do. Again, reread JEO post of 11Dec., item #1. I have read in numerous posts and different forums that you cannot run FOOK and FWE together. I tried to run FOOK by it's self and suffered some many crashes that I uninstalled it and loaded FWE. I would suggest you download FO3 Edit and check you load order for conflicts. Jeoshua Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Yeah I'm going to come around and say it again so people don't have to search for it again. FOOK2 does not play well with others. Especially with FWE. I had attempted to make a FOOK2+FWE patch, but as it turns out it was MUCH harder than I had anticipated. FOOK2 touches everything in the game, almost without exception, overwrites vanilla content with it's own stuff, changes anything it pleases and makes the entire code base different. So there will be no Fallout Remastered - FOOK2 + FWE compat patch. It just can't work. My suggestions is pick the one you want. FOOK2 or FWE. Don't use them together because you will crash out, textures will be missing, quests will break, and in general your game will be broken beyond measure. And there's not really much I can do about it other than recommend that you not do it. My personal recommendation is FWE. Pau1K311y Posted December 20, 2011 Author Share Posted December 20, 2011 OK guys so I have decided to go for FWE and a lot of crashing stopped, wahey! I still cant get EVE to work, still a bit sketchy around which companion packages are safe to use so having trouble keeping friends, they keep disappearing (nothing new there i suppose - lol). Will probably get rid of RTS but does SCC conflict with FWE enhanced - must've missed that one too! Another dodgy area is around Rivet City - although I can now enter and exit there now I cannot get into anacostia crossing, also Bannon and a couple of other few residents are stuck milling around stuck. I have also noticed that a few armour/ clothing meshes missing; do I need to reinstall some mods or main files again? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

H&K PSG-1 Sniper Rifles.espNitem4re_M4A1.esp I am under the impression that suggs are ok, I'm not sure about the bash tags. I don't have the incompatible files installed, or I didn't install them. Anyway, I still can't start the game with EVE - it won't go past start scene - no mouse appears and it hangs. I push on without EVE to find that I now have the same problem as previous withbeing unable to exit Rivet city without crashing. This is again now I have a companion, which lead me to ask about companion packages. Before it was Sydney in Stealing Independence quest, noe it's when I have Lucy West in tow doing companion quest. The exterior of Rivet City still crashing, when trying to save around underground hideout or attempting to enter anacostia crossing, and these are just the only main places I've found outside Megaton. As I mentioned I thought that the follower packages may be clashing anyway as people keep not appearing on fast travel - I have found this with all companions I have used, SCC quest/in game and Lucy West.
