what is metal structure at the slog?

@crawe1x

interesting theory!

it is bizarre charting that rivers course back to prewar,

maybe it was silted up over time, still,

water doesn't seem to have filled that area much.

that is another great explanation - sun-bathing tower!

@all

that's a lot of different explanations folks have come up with for that

weird scaffolding tower at The Slog,

keep 'em coming hehe.

------

Has anyone attempted to delete that metal structure?

have you had any instability issues with The Slog cell at all?

a lot of folks locally, who've tried deleting it, have had cell-reset issues and all...

Delete it? I just recently extended my borders to include it so I can do something with it, lol.

I love the unique structures at each settlement, and try to fashion my building to mimic and/or include them, if I see something I like that's out of range I extend my borders enough to include it, like the overpass near Zimonja.

I'm not sure if I've ever experienced cell reset, I always delete all existing beds, containers, etc., if I have I didn't notice it.

The only settlements that I've ever had issues with is Mechanist Lair and Vault 88, haven't been to Nuka World yet so don't know about that.

The Lair and V-88 are bug infested, graphics/glitching-nausea-inducing nightmares, all I do is complete the quests to unlock workshop items, then never return.

After 200 years of being frozen underground I want to see trees and sky anyway. Like Greekrage said, "I hate interior cells". :wink:

Edit: I've learned the hard way, that in Fallout4 it's best to "sink" things you don't want below ground, instead of deleteing them.

@batdog

hehehe indeed - the Vault Boy icon does a double twist with the pirouette and

bam! face first into concrete

"the pavement was his enemy".

some folks have put a punji pit there or a "pipedreams' mod

'giant geyser of flames" or the water-fall/water fountain mod there...

@robhartman9

yeah!

like, a barbed wire 9iron with a right hand, that's all rusty and bent up or something

"the gilmore"

or a plinking weapon "old plinky" - its special effect is unreliableness.

sometimes, it stovepipes and does 0 damage. it looks cool though...
