AnubisRaven Posted November 2, 2016 Share Posted November 2, 2016 Soooo, I'm not entirely sure how to ask this, but here goes: I've been trying feverishly to get Dual Sheath Redux to work, given that I'm working with a clean install of Skyrim because I got that itch again, and I just... I can't open the patcher. It's a .jar file, and I'm not sure if I'm just being stupid in opening it, but it won't open. I've double clicked it and essentially gotten a black cmdprompt window that pops up REALLY quickly, says error, and goes away.So I feel like I must be opening it with the wrong sort of java somehow, and I probably look incredibly foolish for doing so (feel free to laugh) Currently, I've tried opening it too ways. I either open with C:/Program Files (x86)/Java/jre1.8.0_111/bin/java.exe which gives me the cmdprompt window that goes away near instantly, or C:/Program Files (x86)/Java/jre1.8.0_111/bin/javaw.exe which does nothing at all.
