plectrius
Hello everybody, I know this question has been asked an infinite amount of times but I've never found a clear answer to my questions: when you fail the "Defend settlement" mission:- Can items stored in the workshop be stolen as in automatically removed from the workshop ?- If yes what kind of items can be stolen and in what amounts ?I'm asking this because I decided to not give a damn about those missions on my survival playthrough, tired of running 15' across the map to see 2 raiders being wrecked by turrets missiles in 2''. I don't mind the causalities but losing crafting materials is a concern especially since farming is real hassle on survival mode.
Ethreon
If they have enough time they'll destroy crops and other equipment around the settlement. That might even be automatic, but cannot confirm for sure.

My biggest concern is losing crafting junk stored in the workshop hence my questions.

Could be wrong though. I did read somewhere that if you let things like bottlecaps (from stores) and purified water build up in your workshop it increases the chance of raids. And yes, as far as I'm aware attackers will take stuff - but I'm guessing they won't go for junk as they don't put the same value on it as the player does. Instead, they target bottlecaps, water, food, etc. Pure conjecture on my part.
Ethreon
No autorepair im aware of. Fairly certain you have to spend resources to fix.
TheGadget1945
There is auto repair. In my game if I get there in time and kill enough enemy I actually see the damaged turrets come back to life.
TYL3RZ99
The defend settlement is a good meme.

Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for this. Does it just apply to turrets or does it also include other things (crops, purifiers, stores, etc.)? I think crops do but not sure about the others as they are not so obvious if they repair themselves.
robhartman9
the cell reset bug may have had some beneficial side effects. I think it may have restored some damaged resources. Bethesda didn't intend for auto repair but I think it can happen. I had no idea raiders swiped caps from the workshop
