Shiroryoo Posted November 5, 2016 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Hi everybody iv stated a character i enjoy and made a little back story and playing out how the story unfolds but i just wanted advice on how to make it more lore friendly Shiro was discovered at a shrine one day by a passerby at the age of 10 there was no letter as to say why she was left there and the girl didnt seem to know anything of her past including her name. due t her having pure white hair she was named shiro. One day going to whiterun she was watching a fight between the companions in training, she was always fascinated by heavy armour swords and shields and hated any of the undeath or people who disturbed the dead (necromancers). when she was watching the fighting going on between the 2 companions taking in there stances each impact, one of the companions blocked the power attack causing the trainee companion to loose grip of the sword flinging it towards shiro but to everybody surprise she dodged it with fast reflexes you would only see from a experienced warrior. That day the companions decided to train her with sword and shield but never informed her of there curse due to her hating vampires and the undead and all evil intentions. as the years went on she kept hearing a voice in her head telling her to return to the shrine she was found at. eventually she set of on her travels to the shrine. once arrived she kneeled in front of the statue when the voice called out to her stronger than before. The statue told her (at this point im not sure which shrine to go with im guessing meridia due to her hating the dead as well) that she was what they called a Valkyrie a warrior of the light that used the gods power to banish the evil and send the souls disturbed back to the slumbers. for the next couple of years she fought in the gods name sending all bandits to hell and defeating all the necromancers and sending the draug back to thier slumbers. She then discovered of a vampire hiding underneath a castle (added by a mod) near whiterun so she set out to investigate. she discovered the cave and set out to defeat all the vampires but came across the vampire lord valdmire a glorious battle began she managed to plunge her sword into the valdmires heart but with his dying voice put a curse on her saying "she will be bound to walk the lands for eternity as one of them who she hated and set out to kill living as a warrior of the gods but also as a warrior of the demons" as she stood in shock with the blade still in the vampires heart he wiped his finger on the bloodied sword and then wiped his finger on her bottom lip causing her to consume the blood of a vampire lord. she plead to the gods for the blessing to remove the curse before she turned but no god answered she was left alone once again with nothing. To this day she still fights to rid the world of vampires and the undead as a Valkyrie but with immense power due to curse knowing that when her job is complete she will also have to end her life. her personality is loyal who helps others in need but can go into a frenzy in battle im planning to join dawgaurd and go against the vampires but build a strong bond between serena learning that not all the vampires are heartless evil beings. and then most likely move on to the dremora any help on this for lore friendly would be great ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is also nothing that says anything about white hair in tes lore, still up to you. Also not Valkyrie, but a paladin. What a Val does is vastly different (as much as I know) ") is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live. Selecting half of those who die in battle, the valkyries bring their chosen to the afterlife hall of the slain, Valhalla, ruled over by the god Odin. There, the deceased warriors become einherjar (Old Norse "single (or once) fighters"[1]). When the einherjar are not preparing for the events of Ragnarök, the valkyries bear them mead. Valkyries also appear as lovers of heroes and other mortals, where they are sometimes described as the daughters of royalty, sometimes accompanied by ravens and sometimes connected to swans or horses. Also isn't she pretty much a Stendarr Vigilant if she hated undead and wished for them to be gone?Also what werewolves have to do with undead or anything like that? People don't think they are real in skyrim even. How does she know they are evil. And why would the companion tell her if she was not part of them anyways? Notice how even the lower members like stone arm don't know about werewolves. And how did she juke the sword? Did meridia give her powers? She has zero combat skill and she just did that? Also you don't need a curse, just get hit by vampire a bit and you one. You also can't join the DG if you one already. Why she hates undead so much? There is no need for a reason, but why them specifically? Aren't bandits a bigger problem since she lives in whiterun and there is plenty of trade routes all around? There is hardly any undead. any help on this for lore friendly would be great ^^ Well, from what i have read you want to: Join the companions. Join the collage? Join the DG. Have a powerful character cus back story? Are you using shouts? So basically, Shrio is found, but is taking to Riften like all parents-less kids. The old hag and Riften bad state will make her hate injustices. Thus starting as a bounty hunter when she grows up. When she wonders around Skyrim doing quests. When you said why shiro i relised i put my own knowledge into making character knowing shiro is white in japanese but ofc its not our universe its elder scrolls so that word wouldnt exsist. Reading what i put and what you have said has made me aware how much iv put my own ideas disregarding tes lore. but since im enjoying it im gunna carry on with it. i am just gunna say my next walkthrough im gunna ignore my anime mind haha XD Thanks for info and how you structed it made it easy for me to read ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just go get blades armor and dual wield the swords. The TES has a jap like people called akaviri, that is where all the jap style in tes comes from when it comes to armor and weapons. dragonchris152 Posted November 5, 2016 Share Posted November 5, 2016 Why not go with being raised by an ex blade if you want the japanese name rather than this whole companions thing. I'd go with being a general champion of the nine rather than taking meridia. This would also give you the benefit of being able to pray at shrines. If you really want a main god either go arkay for hating the undead, or talos since you are trying to have a valkyrie theme. And they have zero idea about their akaviri root and what they are just like anyone else in the tamrial.not claiming they actively spoke akaviri, but having maintained some lore would not be out of the question I assume.
