ArtKing1239
If possible, use adobe photoshop. If not, use something cheaper, like adobe elements, or some other imaging program.
ArtKing1239
Photoshop's around $650.00 and can be found at most software stores.
ThetaOrionis01
Software piracy is illegal. Posts recommending software piracy won't be tolerated on these forums. Death Penalty's post has been deleted.
Spudnik
you can use paint. but the thing about it is you need the art file to be a .dds file. bmp's will work, but not real good. the other thing about it too, is you need a hex editor to map your tex on your nif (or 3ds if you so desire...) ThetaOrionis01
No problem. :) I've asked Dark0ne to make the policy on software piracy a bit clearer in the ToS.
NickJones
...you need a hex editor to map your tex on your nif (or 3ds if you so desire...)There is a utility called NIFTexture (scroll down), by Dave Humphrey, which does away with the complexities of hex editing. Srikandi has a downloadable tutorial for it here.
